Why would he leave Nebraska under any circumstances, as long as he's being successful? NU is one of the top ten programs in college football history, and he's got them rolling again.

Yeah, and Yale has more National Championships that you do.

Pelini is not a great recruiter and Nebraska is not exactly overflowing with talent. He is familiar with LSU and if he hired a couple of good recruiters, LSU will recruit itself. All he has to do is coach like he does and LSU will have 10 wins every year from here on out.

Actually, the last time we won 10 games (11), Pelini was on staff. Now, he is doing it again. Haven't had any real success since he left.

i bet gundy is smart enough to not play a player that is a under sized center at guard. he probably also punishes that same player who got a dwi instead of rewarding him with playing time bc of who his daddy is

Is this all you post today..let it go

Not to mention the fact that we're talking about the possibility of firing a coach three years after winning a national title.

In most cases, I agree with you. This would be a bad PR move. In this case, Les Miles has become a national laughing stock and I doubt that anyone will blame us for firing him. Shula had a stronger case to stay at Alabama just one season removed from a 10 win year because you guys had been on probation and he went there when no one else would.

It will be interesting to see Finebaum and Tony Barnhardt run LSU fans down when Miles is fired though. Those hypocrites love to have it both ways and Bama fans will eat it up.

How the hell is that relavent to the comparison of LSU and Nebraska?

Nebraska gets a decent share of talent. As long as they're developing it right, they'll be fine. Even moving into the "western division" of the Big 10, they have a upper hand on the competition, just as they've had in the Big 12 North.

That may be true, but he had a prior history with Nebraska. Plus, with them moving to the Big 10, he's back to his roots.

HBT honestly if Peterson got a dwi and Les sat him for a game and LSU lost would you then commend him, or is this more about your hatred for T-Bob?

If you have a program that is going 10-2 or 11-1 each year, is well coached, is full of talent, and is disciplined, then you will be positioned for titles every year. No team wins a title every year. The point is to be in the hunt.

LSU is now falling out of that position.

peterson isnt dumb enough to get a dwi. shite i drive hammered all the time and i manage to not get a dwi.

i will admit though if tbob didn't do his best to shite all over the offense id prob let it go. also les letting a player that got a dwi play serves my purpose of les not having control.

yep the only reason tt13 and the other bama fans and arky fans try to make people think les is ok is bc they know with a good coach LSU stays elite. we have a joker running our team into the ground

As an Alabama fan, I expect LSU to be good. There's no reason it shouldn't. There's always going to be competition in the West, but there's not a program that has a consistent competitive nature about it right now. A solid hire would put LSU back there again.
