When LSU Has a New Coach Next Year . . .

The SEC can enjoy this while it lasts. I don't see Miles making it through the year. The prayer of every SEC fan is that Miles goes 9-3 or something so that LSU will keep him around. If last night is any indication, 5-7 is likely and Miles will be gone.
Then, LSU goes and gets a decent coach to work with all of the talent on LSU's roster. Suddenly, LSU is a major problem for everyone again. As an LSU fan, I like it when Tennessee keeps Phil Fulmer or when Alabama has a Mike Shula. All of the constant ragging on Les by Bama fans and Paul Finebaum, etc., has served to enrage the LSU nation (along with the product on the field). So, with 4 and 5 star players all over the roster, Tiger fans will have to ride out this year and look forward to someone competent coming in next year so that we can be competitive again.
Wish for 9-3, SEC.

pretty much anyone but houston nutt and bill stewart would be a improvement in coaching for us

Saban never entered my mind as an option, although anyone who says they wouldn't want him is lying. There are other good coaches out there that would do wonders with LSU's talent.
And, honestly, I don't think that you can really call yourself a fan if you continue to support Miles. I supported him until the Ole Miss debacle last year. Last night, I saw more of the same. If you love LSU, how can you be happy with Miles? It is impossible.
The SEC needs to enjoy this while it lasts. There won't be any rebuilding when the new coach is hired. If he is competent, LSU will compete for the SEC title from day one.
