Ok, i saw some really bad teams beat Florida past few years. Florida wasn't really terrible on defense but some of you guys act like they were shutting down offenses. Maybe some of that can be blamed on offense not doing much but not all of it.

I think the guy Auburn just fired on defense had a good reputation too. Only lasted two years at Auburn which theoretically should be recruiting some good talent on defense.

What we have going for us is we are a true city. So every coaches wife will choose us over any city besides Nashville most likely. I could go all day with you buddy if you want

lsu, it was a sincere question, I've only been through there once. I wasn't being snarky. Location wise, and general scenery, it wasn't my thing. That does not mean living there is bad.

I would take Columbia over Baton Rouge and Nashville, closer to beach. I never understood how SC wasn't traditionally one of the better programs in SEC because I think Cola is better location and bigger metro than those Alabama and MS schools, and gainsville.

With college O's today, teams rarely "shut down" good O's. I don't think he had a D, while at UF, that ranked outside of the top 10 nationally. bama's D is considered to be the most stout of the last ten years. Rarely did bama "shut down" a quality O when they faced one.

Any person that watches them can see the issues on that team are on the O side of the ball. It has been that way for quite some time.

Yeah, that perfectly describes 2013.

Columbia is big enough to not feel like a complete podunk town. Look, I love the little college towns. I specifically said what we have going for us is the coaches wives Woman dont exact living in cow towns and 1 square shopping towns

But what did that rank nationally?

Where did you rank nationally with points scored a game?

Ok, well I do think somebody make Muschamp out as an awesome defensive specialist, simply b/c his Florida teams were so bad on offense. I'm not saying he is terrible and let's face it, Auburn can't do much worse than past few years. :)

We ranked higher in scoring defense than scoring offense. So once again, comparitively, our defense was better last year

Muschamp didn't get his D reputation at UF. He had it long before he ever got there. Muchamp is a top 10 DC nationally. His past D's have earned him that reputation.

LSU was first in the West in 2011, tied for second in 2012, third in 2013 and tied for fourth this season.
LSU has been going the wrong way for years. Unacceptable.

I think across the nation, the best program that your casual football fan hates most to watch is LSU. Always so boring on offense.
