The 70's were not good for Tennessee, not as bad as this last decade, but easily our 2nd worst 10 year period.
Not that you care about history at all, you're a troll and alter, and a shameless tiny dicked upvote fisherman.

The Vols always give Bama a hard time about claiming national titles, but they themselves claim five, only one of which is legit (1998). For what it's worth, their 1951 claim was based upon major selectors (AP and Coaches Poll), but even then they later lost their bowl game to undefeated Maryland, proving that Maryland was really the best team of 1951.
Bama, Auburn, Florida, and LSU all have more legit natty claims than the Vols.

Auburn: got lighting in the bottle one year in recent memory, back to mediocre
You do realize that Auburn has the same number of SEC championships as LSU since Saban brought yall from the desert?
In that timeframe Auburn has 2 undefeated seasons while LSU backdoored its way to a 2 loss BCSNC.
So because LSU is lucky, you should not discount others actually on the field accomplishments. Remind me again when was last time LSU when undefeated?

Without these three programs the SEC is nothing.
Auburn: got lighting in the bottle one year in recent memory, back to mediocre
Georgia: irrelevent on the national stage for decades
Tennessee: irelevent on the national stage for almost decades
Become?
It's been the Big 3 since we started championship games- Auburn, Tennessee and UGA have less title combined in that time than Florida or Alabama have individually and as many as LSU.

Can't imagine Florida's drought record will ever be broken by a Big Six team.

2013 - 12-2 (7-1)
2014 - 8-5 (4-4)
2015 - 4-4 (1-4)
Since I said 5 years, 2010 season still counts as this season is't over. So that includes 2 SEC outright titles and a national championship. Also a national championship appearance.
Now on to Florida in the same span:
2010- 8-5
2011- 7-6
2012- 11-2
2013- 4-8
2014- 7-5
Oh and all that mediocrity with 0 SEC titles and 0 national titles.
Thanks for playing but your gatorsession is showing.

Be careful about the Vols. They are the best team in the nation considering they've blown more leads than everyone else in the nation combined and are currently 2-3 in conference play.
They start more freshman than anyone in the country. Next year they will be scary good.

Be honest. Your 2007 MNC was pure luck. The final week of the season (before the SECCG) LSU (10-2) was ranked #7 by the BCS poll. After you beat UT, you backed your way into the game by jumping 5 teams. West Virginia lost and fell out. Georgia (10-2) didn't play because UT beat them during the season and got the tie-breaker to play LSU in the SECCG (UGA had a better overall record than UT). Kansas was 11-1 and didn't get to play in the Big-12 title game because their only loss was to Mizzou (also 11-1) who ended up going instead. Regardless, Kansas was #5 in the BCS poll and LSU jumped them all because Kansas didn't play a game. Mizzou (who was #1) ended up getting beat by Oklahoma (for a 2nd time that season). OU finished 11-2. Virginia Tech (10-2) was ahead of you AND won the ACC title game and you jumped them (to be fair LSU did beat VT during the regular season). Even though USC was ranked below LSU in the BCS poll, they still ended up going 10-2. They got screwed because the Pac-12 had no title game back then.
Bottom line: 2007 was probably the most controversial BCS ever. LSU was lucky as shite that all the stars aligned the way they did.
In 2003 under $aban, you didn't even win the AP title. USC did (and they still claim the 2003 national title). So put an asterisk by that title too.
It's funny, though, that a 12-1 LSU (who didn't play USC) gets to claim a title in 2003, when a 13-0 Auburn team (who also didn't get to play USC) does not get to claim a title in 2004. It's also funny that USC gets to claim the AP title in 2003 (even though they didn't play in the BCS title game) but AU does not in 2004 (even though USC has now had to vacate the 2004 season).
Bunch of bullshite was the BCS and every single MNC prior to 2014.

Then any team that won a NC that didn't start the season # 1 or # 2 is luck.
Also auburn is beneath lsu in every program statistic.
Lsu leads the head to head.
Lsu has more wins
LSU has a higher win %
LSU has more sec titles
Lsu has more NC ( though I hate using NC as an argument because coaches and players have no control over being a participant in the game)
