Ya I just hate spending my saturdays surrounded by people that will invite a stranger over for a free beer and bbq. Would much rather wear a bow tie and sit under a chandelier with cold chicken fingers knowing my teams is about to give up 40+ to an FCS school...

Starkville is by no means a big city, but you're an absolute dumbass if you think Oxford is some heaven on earth. This continues to be the storyline for Ole Miss fans, meanwhile, Starkville continues evolving and growing, and Oxford stays in the past.

Turns out they were MSU fans. Also, University of Mississippi is a "free speech" school. Every now and then racist MSU fans gather and exercise their right to free speech.
They were rallying because Univ. of Ms. discontinued racist symbolism of the past (confederate flag, col. reb, and no longer flying the state flag on campus).
Dirty maroons trying to hold us back.

I think a large amount would have been avoided. I also think him refusing to cut out Barney did as well. Once everyone realized how much shite he had caused it was almost too late imo. Idk how much it would've helped. Then of course the hookers and all. As much as I think Ross botched the handling I'm not sure he wouldn't have gotten destroyed more for prematurely firing a coach who had taken a team to back to back NY6 bowls after so many years of disappointment.

I have the same philosophy. I don't take it too seriously; I just like trolling people who think their little podunk Mississippi town is better than your little podunk Mississippi town, or they are better than you because they believe their Mississippi public college degree is better than your Mississippi public college degree.
