I cheap it up all the time, but if you have the money for crown, you have the money for Jack. And Crown is piss whiskey that's refiltered and sold at a upscale price. seriously, look that shite up and tell me where they "distill" crown.

I am primarily a beer drinker, but I do drink whiskey during football season.
Maker's Mark and Coke.

recently gotten away from gameday and whiskey since I was thrown out of the LSU AU game
For the hotter games
1 shot vodka, 1 shot gin, 1 cut up fresh lime, 1 sugar cube, diet sprite = refreshing and delicious.
For colder games this warm = panty dropper
1/2 gallon apple cider, 1/2 gallon apple juice boiled for an hour. cinnamon sticks in it, store it over night. Game day add 1 liter everclear = apple pie. Shoot it with vanilla vodka for ala mode.

It depends on who I'm with. As of late, it's been mimosas and Irish coffees for breakfast, a pitcher of cheap domestic beer when I get to the bar (ususally Yuengling), and then Makers or Woodford on the rocks to finish the game.
If I go out and party after that, it's Red Bull/Vodka at that point. I need the jolt.
When I'm in the Grove (which is rare, because I live a billion miles away), I'm pretty sure I just drink whatever cheap bourbon I can find at the Star Package mixed with coke all, day, long. I don't keep it classy in the Grove, liquor wise.

Way too many people that mix their liquor with coke in this thread. I don't get it. On the rocks with a splash of water (tonic or regular).
I'm guessing you people put ketchup on hot dogs too.

Maker's and whoadah. All dey. Er Dey.
I have gotten to where I cannot drink my bourbon (or any liquor drinks for that matter) with soft drinks. All that sugar is what gives you the hangover. I remember I used to wake up after home football games and feel just fricking awful, then I'd realize that I prob consumed a 2 liter of cola the day before along side my 5th. That's just gross. For about 3 years now Ive been a bourbon and water guy and I must say the hangovers have vanished.

I only mix shitty liquor with Coke (or tonic or whatever is appropriate). I don't do that with good liquor. Notice, I made the distinction between drinking Makers or Woodford vs. drinking cheap bourbon.
And I agree, only children should put ketchup on their hot dogs.

I brew a different batch of beer for each new season. Last year I went with a stout that was pretty decent.
This year I made a dark brown ale similar to Moose Drool (hopefully) that should be ready to go by Saturday.
I switch to an Old Fashioned after kickoff.

Mimosas or Screwdrivers before 3 or so then switch to bourbon and coke occasionally mixing in some Newcastle.
