What's up with all the animosity between LSU and AU lately?

I really don't understand the hate between the two fanbases. Personally, I've never minded auburn at all: yalls fans, from what I've experienced, have always been really cool and our games always seem to end up as classics (see last year although I wish the end result was different.) Anyway, I'll just say good luck to you guys this year, I think y'all have the potential to be a great team, and I can't wait to see you guys in TS in October.

Alright we need to establish this. Is the off-season championship here for the SEC or is it a national championship?

How old are you? There was a time where that game was the biggest game in the SEC West just about every single year. The importance of the game has waned in recent years but the animosity remains.
