The aggies are jubilant and acting like they won a NC, meanwhile the rest of you are acting like bama is going down in flames. I'm not surprised at either

As an LSU fan let me say this perplexes me as well. LSU played lights out yet still lost. aTm played lights out and pulled it out. How many teams can take two great teams' best effort back to back and go 1-1. I don't see anyone getting within 14 points from Bama from this point on.

That's true, and we know it. But everybody knows we are knocking on the door. Will we get in? Only time will tell.
I'll add this...it is obvious that, while we have a VERY good team that has improved tremendously over the course of the season, we are NOT as good as Bama. We outplayed Bama and deserved to win, but it was more or less obvious that Bama was the better team. We played a great game, forced some turnovers, and scratched out a win with a mighty last stand.

Maybe it's because A&M fans were tired of hearing about how we'd have our arse handed to us in the SEC.
With a freshman QB who's in the running for the heisman and a first year head coach with the potential to win 10 regular season games, in the SEC West, A&M has a lot of momentum and some of the "SEC Elite" fans dont like it.... which is why the OP started this topic.

I said last week because of all the shite Aggie fans were talking they were more arrogant than Bama fans and practically got laughed off the board. It feels good to be vindicated!

Over the past 12 years or so, A&M fans would have to resort to tearing down and attacking the state's other programs successful seasons to make them feel better about their own program's failures.
But now that they are having a good year, they are letting out all that frustration and energy usually reserved for tearing down Texas, TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, etc.
Texas won the Rose Bowl and National Championship in back to back years? Big deal, they got lucky because of Vince Young. Without him, we would walk all over those teams. Also its really sad that Texas lost to Oklahoma the year they won the Rose Bowl. Couldn't even go unbeaten, how pathetic.
TCU won the Rose Bowl and went to back to back BCS games? Big deal, if we played that weak schedule we'd go unbeaten, to the BCS and beat Boise State and Wisconsin both by 40. TCU is pathetic that they lost to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl and ONLY beat that crappy Wisconsin team by 2.
Texas Tech went 11-1 and beat us in 2008? Who gives a crap. 2008 was our worst season in years. If we played Tech any other year, we'd kill them. They got lucky because of Michael Crabtree. Without him we never would have lost to Tech all those years. Ryan Tannehill is a better receiver than Crabtree anyway. Texas Tech is pathetic and has never done anything.
Baylor went 10-3 and won the Alamo Bowl? And had the Heisman winner? Big deal, they have one good year in 20 years and think they are amazing. Even though that season was better than anything we have had lately. And besides, Ryan Tannehill would be Heisman winner if 6 teams didn't get lucky and have lucky comebacks against us. If that doesn't happen, we are 12-0, in the championship game against LSU(who we would kill) and have the Heisman winner. So enjoy your pathetic 10 win season Baylor.

Yeah the aTm fans are going to act stupid for a while. You cant blame them though, if you look at the shape their program was in, and look at where it's going.
By next year aTm fans will be a bit more accustomed to success, and wont go full retard after every win. But it's expected this year.
