Well - I'm watching this mess because it's one of the best college football jobs in America opening up.

Not blowing smoke. 'Bama, LSU, Ohio St. - a few others. The real power schools. LSU is one of those.

This is one of those hires that, if they get it right, changes how college football looks. If they get it wrong - it'll just keep looking like LSU.

This hire is important. And fun to watch.

I'm just happy we won't have to recruit against LSU this year.

Well, this is the 20th football season of the century. In that time LSU has won 3 titles played for a 4th.

When you’re in the same conference with a team that’s been a participant in 20% of all the title games in the century, they’re kind of a big deal and you’re interested in what move they make.

Lord, every other thread is about who the HC at LSU will be, starting why a certain coach will never come to LSU, and that LSU will be fricked and should have kept O.

So why is that?

Are you all nervous that LSU will get someone’s that you secretly covet, nervous that a semblance of a good coach will cause problems for your programs, and/or that LSU’s new HC will more than like likely win another NC like his prior 3 predecessors (and this just can’t stand because LSU is a dumpster fire according to all here).

Aside from Bama, y’all’s pussies of fear are showing

Oh my, what a fey young thing !

absolutely historically unprecedented timeframe following a national championship,

Not sure why this is a popular thing to say. Chizik was fired 23 months after winning a title. Ed was fired 21 months after a title.

It’s almost as if…I don’t know…maybe some of us are just fans of the game and are discussing the biggest piece of news out right now in the world of CFB. Instead of being obnoxious homers that only live to talk shite and obsess over the football team that represents the 4 year college of our choice. I could be wrong though.

Couldn’t have been said better.

It also makes a bad season into an exciting one.

I’ll speak for myself…..

It doesn’t get anymore exciting than this

Life is good.
