Lord, every other thread is about who the HC at LSU will be, starting why a certain coach will never come to LSU, and that LSU will be fricked and should have kept O.

So why is that?

Are you all nervous that LSU will get someone’s that you secretly covet, nervous that a semblance of a good coach will cause problems for your programs, and/or that LSU’s new HC will more than like likely win another NC like his prior 3 predecessors (and this just can’t stand because LSU is a dumpster fire according to all here).

Aside from Bama, y’all’s pussies of fear are showing

Well originally it was “You’re not paying to buy out Ed” cause we’re too poor.

That was obviously not true.

Now it’s “you’ll frick up the hire”

That might be true.

One thing that’s for sure true?

They scared.

Well, it’s the biggest news in college football today… coming at an absolutely historically unprecedented timeframe following a national championship, and the decision directly and indirectly affects all of our programs via recruiting, the staffing carousel, etc.

Any other questions?

Because Ed O is all our hero. Getting paid gazillions, slays quality, has a fish camp, and has done it all with zero skill

This has the potential to be a Tennessee level coaching search.

Are you mad that SEC teams aren’t concerned with their own recently fired coaches?

Trolling or not, everyone knows how dangerous of a school LSU is, especially with the right coach. We’ve won two championships with goofballs running the team, so if we had another Saban, that’s not good for the rest of the conference.

And to think we've been told over and over that no one cares about LSU.

Wrong. Our AD is competent and LSU is a much, much better job than the Viles.

LSU is at the very center of the SEC universe. If not for LSU football and it's coach, these slack-jawed yokels would have nothing comprehensible to discuss.

It is unsurprising, my dude.

Well, it's been said that this is an LSU site, right?

No one can screw up a coaching search like Tennessee. Plus, Scotty tends to pay new hires like 10 times what they are worth so I think they will get a serviceable head coach.

For the record I'm also tired of it. Most people already knew he was done, it was just a matter of when/how. I find all the threads annoying too. If this place had any moderation they'd make a sticky for one topic of Ed O talk in addition to opening the coaching changes board, so the 90% of us who really don't GAF can go about our business here.

I asked the same question about Jimbo's salary. What does anyone else care? The job pays what it pays and that's it.
