What's the story behind MSU and grind?

supposedly against someone like Kentucky ,Coach Mullen remarked his boys had to "grind one out" or something like that.

me either. there was some song that a student wrote called Grindin for My State that wasn't terrible maybe that is it. only grind i know is Grit and Grind that is a Memphis Grizzlies thing

it all started in 2012 against Auburn. The OG Grindfest. Started by a couple of posters. Snowballed from there.

Yep! He was spotted at the MSU/USM game to start the 2014 season and things went off from there. He retweeted and tweeted a couple MSU things and did a video of him Yelling HAIL STATE!

tGrind was around much before the Grizzlies tried to claim it.
