I think he’s the best QB in the SEC. And he’s the reason LSU is competitive this year. Lean times ahead when he leaves.

He’s probably deserving of an invite to NYC but I think LSU has some more losses ahead and the record will keep him away.

He also threw a perfect fade pass to the RB in the left side of the goaline in double coverage on one of the final plays that the RB dropped, would've tied us up and gave us a point after try to win it.

What game were you watching? Diggs had three people on him. Diggs knocked the ball out of the defenders hands so I would not call that a drop... I can post the pic if needed.

He’s impressed the hell out of me. I was on the JD side of the QB argument coming into the season, but I could not have predicted this level of play from him. When he’s on, his accuracy is top notch (and this season that’s much more often than not). And while it doesn’t look like he’s running very fast, the DBs he’s getting separation from tells a different story.

What usually happens is we figure out the defensive side of the equation when the QB leaves, leaving us all to wonder what could have been.

Daniel's is pretty clearly the best QB in the SEC. Unfortunately he is surrounded by an atrocious defense.

It looks to me like he is a more accurate Lamar Jackson, but admittedly the only LSU game I watched most of was the Ole Miss game.

Great QB that needs to learn how to protect himself. Every time I tune in to an LSU game it seems like he’s getting rocked because he’s not getting down and he’s not built like Newton or Tebow to take those kind of hits. I appreciate the competitive fire, but you’re not going to help your team if you’re in the injury tent.

He has looked like that all year. He was off timing in the first quarter of Arkansas and some bad drops kept him from having 3-4 touchdowns and about 500 passing yards against FSU.
