Matt is young and may do some good things in the next few years. Power in the SEC WBB are coaches in their sunset years so it is only a matter of time before the next generation replaces the current pyramid.

As much as I like Insell, I don't think he's going to be here long if he has any kind of success. Someone will pull him away. I like him a lot though. He's a good coach

I was thinking that it would need to be a sport with very few scholarship participants. How many are on a Rifle team? How hard would it be to get a top level coach and recruiting class? It seems like that would be something that a team could get very good in very fast with a good year or two.

Aren't there Quidditch teams now? Might be a good sport for Ole Miss to look into.
If you really want NCs then splash the cash and hire away the Arkansas and LSU track and field coaches. The South is loaded with track athletes and in a couple of years you'll probably have some hardware to show off.

With his dad deeply rooted in TN I don't see him moving more than a 1/2 day drive from Blue Raiders. With Ole Miss building new BB facilities I could see him staying if he does well and Ole Miss AD supports him in building a long term program there.

Baseball then football. AK winning tournament games at Ole Miss should count as a natty though because our basketball program is shittier than a CBS sitcom with a predominately female cast.
