Arkansas' original mascot was Cardinals; it changed to Razorbacks in 1910. "Woo Pig Sooie" cheer came about in the 1920's.

The original formation of the University of Arkansas was in Cane Hill and not Fayetteville.

Our first super independent was William T Sherman. Though he is more know for his "march to the sea" during the civil war. During which he burned every town from Atlanta to Savannah, Georgia. Not sonething we are all proud of, but it's history.

At least he isn't this guy

some people want to name the rotc program after him. I have to think there are way better people we can name it after that went to LSU and didn't commit war crimes.

It's pretty neat, but you have to wonder what the plan is a 100 years from now. Arkansas' campus isn't exactly big.

Still a ton of sidewalk left though. They may be about half way through campus. It is just now down by the Greek Theatre.
