Let me pull out a few notes. I guess trotting out JJ instead of Lee 1/9/12 on the 2nd series in 2nd half. Might have lost worse but that was when I realized there was no option B.

--Getting greedy and trying to score at the end of the first half against LSU when we already had the lead. Ended up fumbling, and LSU's score off that turnover was the winning margin

Those aren't really "boneheaded" though. Questionable judgment perhaps, but not "holy hell, WTF were you thinking??"
For examples of that go back 1 year to Mike Sherman and the entire 2011 season.
Oklahoma State: Christine Michael looked like an NFL star playing against high schoolers. Got 8-10 yards every carry in the first half and went to the locker room with nearly 70 yards. He didn't get a single carry in the second half (maybe 1, but no more), despite the fact that OSU had a quick strike offense and we were sitting on a big lead and wanted to milk the clock. Instead we called tons of pass plays that fell incomplete

Actually, that happened in all of our losses in 2011. That entire season was Mike Sherman kicking himself in the d1ck every Saturday with his playcalls. Texas was particularly bad. After we got up 17-0, we could have run the ball 3x and punted every friggin possession and still won the game (Texas' offense was absolutely awful). But instead, Sherman had to have his fricking balance, so we threw it around and were picked off a few times and gifted them points.

Gotta go with robot Santa and the FGs against LSU on 11/5. We should have gone for it on some or punted on others and pinned them deep. Continually kicking 40+ yarders with no success killed us in that game.
