People don’t really know the holding rules. They have liberalized it to unless you have a handful of jersey, or have the guy hooked and visibly impede his progress, it’s no holding.
A lot of arms outside look like holding but they aren’t.

I thought there was an obvious hold not called when Bama tied on the Jalen scramble. A missed late hit against Bama, and PI not called on Bama on the deep pass to Ridley before the hail Mary. They called hands to the face on us and and a PI. Typical Bama advantage
However the loss is on UGA.

I thought that’s the only reason we lost. We beat Bama real good. Is that how you do it LSU?

Watch the play where Hurt rolled out and threw on 3rd and goal....I'd say that's 2 holdings....

I thought it was okay. I don’t think the officiating changed the game at all. I’ve seen some UGA fans on twitter posting images, but there weren’t any major aggrecious calls, outside of the weird PI on Stokes. They missed a few holds on both sides honesty

I get why the SEC doesn't call holding in the big games, but they need to call holding ENOUGH to clean the game up and make the o line think about whether or not they want to risk holding.
On both sides, defenders are getting mugged and it's been all season long. I don't want to see a football game dominated by penalties, but the rules are in place for a reason.
Jmo.

Hell yes it was I saw that. Georgia now knows what a hard frickin in the arse feels like, just like us every year. shite sucks.

I think some of you don’t know or aren’t old enough to remember the kind of tackle the horse collar rule was made for.
That was not a horse collar tackle on Jalen...also, he scored a TD on the play...so, what exactly were you looking for as punishment if it HAD been a horse collar? Double TD points?

Holding happened all night in both last night's game and the BAMA/LSU game. It happens every week in every big SEC game. The players know they won't call it and are getting away with it.
Stop whining, and stop ignoring the fact BAMA is held on every play too.

If Alabama wins the officiating was horrible. Certainly you’ve been around long enough to know that.

It was fine. A couple bad-ish calls, but, despite what certain fans think, bad calls happen every single game.
Also, every team holds. Anyone who thinks their team doesn't is either legitimately blind or spends every game only watching the scores being updated on ESPN's website. The refs, good, bad, mediocre, tripping on acid, almost always hold their flags until the holding alters a play significantly. If they didn't, the games would be 20 hours long and the only scoring would be from safeties, because, and I cannot repeat this enough, every team holds to some degree or another on every play of every possession.

Why the frick would you ask such a question? You will only get the usual LSU and boogers claiming Alabama referee bias, a few specific complaints otherwise with fingers pointing both ways. Overall the fans of most teams will give a passing grade, except for LSU who will swear it was all fixed in Birmingham and the whole scenario including Hurts' heroics was scripted in the SEC office basement by Alabama graduates... just to increase viewage.
These LSU lads will then go on a rampage on Tr with some seepage over to SECr about how they hate the SEC, want to go to the big 12, hate Alabama who is responsible for all things wrong in Baton Rouge, how they will not cheer for other SEC teams because "frick the SEC." They will start line after line, or hijack lines on any subject to declare their rampaging teethgnashing hopeless hate of Alabama...which no one in Alabama will know about because no one in Alabama gives a shite about LSU except one week a year.
This will continue unabated until late summer next year when the LSU fan base will begin to claim 8 first round draft picks, lock, and a team that is going to the ship with an 11-1 record. That will be followed by screaming about refereeing after the team goes 8-4, 4-4 in the SEC. Then... repeat.

The refs did an outstanding job per usual.
I always know they're doing the right thing buy the number of crybabies making ref threads on the score board. Most all of those crybabies have a horrible football IQ and don't know the actual rules.

Not a late hit. Contact was made almost the exact moment his foot came down out of bounds.
ETA: I will be honest here and admit that it COULD have been called, but it would have been an extremely ticky tacky call, not the black and white easy call that some UGA fans are inexplicably classifying it as.
