I haven't said anything that is wrong. Out of all the new coaches Jimbo has done the worst job so far besides herm, herm is probably waiting for the draft to start tho. Mario Cristobal is recruiting circles around Jimbo at the moment and he's at Oregon

not so sure about that... can't remember all of which Herman pulled in vs inherited, but the 2017 class was #25 ranked and has good early returns and 4 starters were from Herman v Charlie. Opposite of some of the recent top 10 classes that produced very little if anything.

O'Neal was never goin anywhere but A&M, Ingram? and I don't know or care about the others.. was just commenting on the big three

Honestly, friend, you don't know what you're talking about. You're seeing a list on 247, and you want it to be the case that Jimbo is recruiting poorly, so you are speaking up without an awareness of all the facts.

A&M will be top 20 come Wed. A&M's 2019 has the hallmarks of being top 5 or even top 3.

I'm going to bow out now. Have a nice afternoon. See you Wed.

I am basing my judgment on what is actually happening. Another fact for the ags, Jimbo isn't a great closer, in fact his signing days were normally full of let downs. Jimbo was known for having his class finished early and working one or 2 guys for NSD, which he rarely got

Why do you think Herman whiffed on almost every position of need?

And what’s up with Your Best players all leaving early or transferring? Are the reports about locker room strife and players hating Herman now more believable?

About that...
quote:

With a flurry that saw six of the nation’s top 200 prospects select Florida State, head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles were among the biggest winners on national signing day.

The flock of top prospects to Tallahassee helped the ‘Noles land the nation’s No. 2 class in the 2016 cycle—second only to defending national champion Alabama.

Among the high-profile wins on national signing day for FSU were 4-star offensive linemen Landon Dickerson and Jauan Williams, 4-star defensive end Brian Burns, 4-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson and 4-star corner Carlos Becker.

As an added bonus, the ‘Noles were able to flip 4-star defensive tackle Shavar Manuel—who was previously committed to in-state rival Florida.

gonna need to give specifics... "Herman whiffing" in '17 or this year?

Best players transferring... I think we lost two?

The sip OL is a shambles, and Herman completely whiffed at that position. Texas is going to lose it's lone DT commit on signing day, but he did a good job at secondary. Have to give him that. Rest of the sip class is meh at best.

Oh, and get Josh Moore a sandwich or twenty. Dude looks like a rail next to his brother

Trolling or just crazy?

We'll have 5 OL and 3-5 DL... with a #3 class those 8-10 weren't rated as chopped liver.

2015 0 for 4 missing Fitzpatrick, Marshall, Scarlett and Beckner Jr

2014 FSU missed on Carter, Mcdowell and Widemen on NSD

I could keep going Jimbo only had 2 good NSD's while he was at FSU. Again he did a good job recruiting to FSU but closing strong on NSD isn't what he does best. I guess well see Wednesday. Good luck

Only on SECRant can a coach get criticized for not 'closing the deal' in recruiting while simultaneously bringing in several top 3 classes.

Seriously, the existing sip OL is utter garbage, and the recruits aren't any better. Best one is going on a 2-year mission, and will never set foot on campus. Herman needs to shore that up. Oh but wait, he's going to have to do that elsewhere than Texas. A&M took all the good ones this year.

And leads for every decent lineman next year, including the prize Green. It's the main reason that Ingram actually considered going elsewhere, no matter what sips say. If I were a RB, God knows I would.

But then again maybe you don't need an OL in the B12?

Ran the numbers.. Herman secured 12 new commits in '17. 6 have started already and will start next year. 2 4*'s red shirted as well as 3*'s.

That's saying a lot and especially in a convo where "insanely awful" was thrown out.

Of course you would also think you played a tougher schedule and had a better year/team.
