I'm shocked that croots don't want to play for a 5-6 coach who bailed on his last team before the season ended.

Regardless NSD is Wednesday and aTm is currently ranked in the 50s. Quite a long way from the top 15 classes Sumlin pulling
50s.... 35th. Numbers are hard.

I think starting say today and into Wednesday things might just change drastically.
We'll probably add about 6 4*s and a few 3*s. Should be enough to get into the top 20, maybe around say 15th.
2019 should be fun too. Get ya popcorn ready.

Will do, then we will come to Houston and get the 4 or 5 we want.

Planning for the future - have a good stock of 2019s. Yes, some of them may get poached if A&M doesn't do well next year and these guys get approached by blue bloods who do well. But having a stockpile of futures >>> not having a stockpile.
Finish with some nice 2018s to round out this class?
That's all he needs to do.
Seems like he's on schedule.

From the looks of it UT has taken back over Houston. Pretty much every top recruit for 2018 in Houston signed with Herman.

If the talk on Twitter and interviews from current commits and recruits is what it seems to be, and if the insiders are right, then A&M is going to sign quite a few (6-8) guys on Wed who are not currently committed to A&M, and in fact might be currently committed to other schools.

Herman had a great 2018, but that was recruiting against a dead man walking in Sumlin. He's getting killed by Fisher for 2019. Unless something changes, A&M is going to own the top prospects from Texas in 2019.

I'm not saying this recruiting class is evidence, because I don't think it is.
But, I do think there is a decent chance that Jimbo is burned out. It will not totally surprise me to see him get outworked at A&M.

Time will tell. Historically UT has recruited better than a&m. But jimbo might kill it. We will see.

Ha! That dude has been working his arse off, with a smile on his face, since before his press conference. It's been amazing hearing how he's been meeting with high school coaches, hiring college coaches, and recruiting at full tilt. Dude is always working, and seems to be having a blast.
The article in the advocate about his efforts to land Terrance Marshall is a great example, and he's been doing the kinds of thing described in that article non-stop. He works so hard to build a team and win people over. It's remarkable.

Bookmark it, make it your signature, the guys is really struggling and why should he get a pass for this class. Nebraska was in the 90's when Frost took over, he also coached his bowl game, they are sitting at 23. Mullen took over roughly the same time as Jimbo, they're sitting at 16/17. FSU was ranked in the 70s when Taggart took over, now sitting at 14. UCLA and UT both the same situation and they are both in the top 20 but hey he is doing better than Herm, maybe

How about we re-visit this on Wed night?

When one has followed recruiting as long as I have one would realize 2019 signing day is a long way away. I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch is what I'm getting at

Like Brian Williams, Grant Gunnell, Kam Brown, and Bobby Wolfe would all hold LSU offers and all committed to A&M?

Such a strange bunch aTms are. He is obviously not recruiting close to the level that he was expected to but our insiders claim he's doing a good job so shut up lmao. Rumors in Tallahassee are claiming he has a problem with Evan Williams and he's burnt out, won't last 3 years. He does look like it but you never know. I don't believe the Tally rumors or the aTm insider rumors bottom line is the guy is not recruiting to the level we have come to expect.

Your recruiting troll didn't work so now you call him a drunk.
Posted on 2/5/18 at 10:31 am to Farmer1906
And a drunk with some bottom shelf bourbon to boot. He’s making 7.5m a year he’s getting the good shite baw
Posted on 2/5/18 at 10:37 am to ShaneTheLegLechler
Nope, said I don't believe the insiders saying he's a drunk (he has looked like shite over the past several months tho) also don't believe the insiders that say he is recruiting well. It takes a full homer retard to believe either
