Don't be an idiot. Were you around when we lost to A&M? We know when we've been beat. I would have been saying the same thing had UGA prevailed. We pretty much ARE saying the same things.

Lol you serious? Your fan base went nuclear after that loss. Also, you never admit defeat, according to your players, you only beat yourself.

And let's be clear about this, LSU fan base isn't more upset than Georgia, we weren't there, we just hate you and wish evil things upon you like most of the other SEC teams do. I've never seen more SEC fan bases rally around a teams downfall more than yours. And it's not for lack of respect for the talent you field, it's the condescending douchebaggery in which the Bama fan base and players display.

It's been said but I'll say it again. LSU taking the loss harder than UGA.

It's been pretty funny to watch. I would be embarrassed if Bama fans were acting this way.

you guys wish we did, but we know we got beat. Funny how some of you guys think other teams meltdown after a loss....

LSU is the king of meltdowns and it is not even close.

I said this on the coaching changes board, but I strongly feel UGA is the best sec coaching job based on its potential. And I agree with you. It hasn't reached its maximum capabilities yet.

is that most UGA fans have an affiliation to the school. We lost. It was close and frankly could have gone either way. One day some coach will tap into the deep talent pool the state produces and it will result in a National Championship. Bama was a few snaps better and we couldn't stop the run. Congrats Bama you deserve it.

Your chance was this year. But your coach doesn't know how to let his QB clock the ball and get two plays to the endzone when you have the Bama defense reeling. You'll never win anything with Richt there.

Here's the the thing. We remember an anecdote here and there and apply it to the "entire fan base."

I think you guys still have it stuck in your craw about our reaction about the 9-6 game. You won, fair and square. But Bama fans felt like we hadn't put our best foot forward. I was more mad at Saban trying to kick all those FGs instead of playing field position. If that equates to "beating ourselves" so be it.

For the most part I think the fan base took the A&M loss for what it was. They opened up a 21-0 can of whoop arse and we couldn't overcome that. Fair enough? Stop painting with such a broad brush. Any time you lose a "9-6" type matchup it is natural to look at a play here and there that might have gone differently--of course LSU can do that too.

What? No... they do not. Just as many sidewalk alumni as any other school. How else do you explain the $8.95 T-shirs, diplomas, car tags, hats in every Citgo station in the state?

Couldn't agree more. It's amazing how equally or more talented UGA was tonight, especially when you consider how many players on Bama's roster came from Georgia. They lose high profile in-state recruits to Bama, UF, and UT every year, yet they stay among the top of the conference and always have as much talent as anyone. Unreal.

Great game from both side and very exciting to say the least.

I also want to applaud the reactions from most of the fans from either team as it has been nothing but class - don't get to see that around here a lot nowadays.

I agree, there's no FSU or Miami type program to compete against in the state. It's between them and LSU for #1.

Yeah, UGA fans look like they actually know how to handle losing. The few UGA fans who were acting like morons this week aren't here, but the rest of you seem to be taking it like men.

They know how to handle losing because that is what their coach has trained them to do. I remember when Bill Curry was the coach at Alabama and his biggest problem was that he was a good loser. frick that, I want a coach that loves to win and only knows how to win and hates fricking losing.

Richt is a good loser. Georgia will never win shite as long as Mark Richt is the head coach. He just isnt a winner.

If Georgia had won, Bama fans would not be so gracious. According to them, Bama never loses to a better team, they only beat themselves.

Saban has never taken the field against a better team; it is ALWAYS "we didn't play our best GAME", win or lose. I nearly threw a bottle at my TV when the 1st words out of that prick's mouth were "Georgia is a good team, but we didn't play our best game."

There is nothing wrong with STRIVING FOR perfection, and coaching a team to try to achieve it. It is the condescending arrogance of insisting that you believe that you ARE perfect, just sometimes your kids let you down and don't display it on the field, that results in the overwhelming majority of observers to conclude that he is (a douchebag/ a-hole/ sniveling prick/ insert your choice of insult here) such a thoroughly unlikable unpleasant person.

Rational Bama fans, tell the truth- just as we Tiger fans must sometimes cringe at Les's persona (for different reasons), aren't you sometimes embarrased by Saban's lack of class?

(BTW, that clock management just before halftime was as bad as anything LM ever pulled. Imagine the amount of criticism LM gets for same blunder vs. the scant mention Nick is granted.)
