re: Who is your walkaway hire?

Dabo. Not that he’s a candidate; but that would cause me to walk away
Not really. He’s being bought out. The next iteration of LSU football depends on the hire and money put behind NIL and recruiting
He’s apparently not a fan of a cage rush on mobile QBs but this whole season is a shite show so I have no idea how much top line installation was given to him. I feel bad for Blake; to a degree.
I didn’t say it prevented anything. I actually never used the word ‘prevented’. I’m saying this whole staff and team suck. We can’t fix a system install, or culture, in two weeks.
Ok; not that this should have to stated but you can’t overhaul a whole offensive playbook in two weeks. Can you make slight adjustments in rhythm and certain sets; sure; but we don’t have the talent or staff to make major changes. Keeping Sloan or Kelly’s dumbasses wouldn’t have prevented this. They set this strategy and culture
It’s not true though. Between Spaht, Graves, Bordelon, Lipsey and countless others; it’s just not true. LSU has deeper pockets and big money boosters than they care to let on; or the boosters themselves; care to let on. They have finally gotten to a “f it” point of spending; instead of being conservative.

This just isn’t true. Quit spinning this narrative.
Jesus Christ…yeah huge PR problem if the guy who loves LSU, but humbly understands it’s probably temporary, wins out. Did you even watch the press conference?

‘When asked if the coming weeks and months are a resume builder for Wilson, his response was clear. "I can't," he said. "I have to be where my feet are ... I have to be in this moment. To do anything besides that would be a mistake."’

This isn’t someone chasing a position, despite anyone else’s narrative. He legit loves this place and wants it to succeed. I can almost guarantee he will be retained even if he isn’t offered the head coaching position.
People just want to bang the drum that it’s so much wasted money. Sunk cost fallacy. It’s wasted money sitting on a coach destroying a program and brand. BK was already being paid for a job he wasn’t doing; he could only make it worse being around the program. LSU has deeper pockets and big money boosters than they care to let on; or the boosters themselves; care to let on. The good news is; the silent benefactors are willing to pull the trigger quick to fix a problem. It should actually make people happy that we have a billionaire willing to do this rather than the money dry up bc they don’t believe in LSU anymore

This a sunk cost fallacy. You basically are tossing money out the window by keeping a lame duck coach that’s destroying your team. It’s also not a lump sum. It can be paid out over time. It can get worse than it is if you keep him. I don’t see a way out for him. My true hope is they structure a reduced buyout and allow him to “retire”
You seem to say this a lot; with confidence. You know something we don’t? Don’t get me wrong; I would applaud the aggressive correction; but what makes you so sure?
F that. It just needs to be Cauble being a smartass and saying “Hey coach is ok to ask about the offense now…”

You’re lucky then. Just pointless, repetitive, color commentary about his shoe laces that broke

Hopefully we hear more about Jahkeem but LSU has for the first time this week “liked the placed they are in” with him according to Sam Speiglmann of Rivals

He legit just said he expects Stewart to USC
Those coaches are actually DOING their jobs with NIL fundraising, hiring, game planning and personnel management. They seem connected with their programs and players. The same cannot be said about Kelly

Edit: Honestly I could’ve just stopped at “those coaches are doing their jobs.” Kelly is lazy and complacent. He’s checked out so the team is doing likewise
The witch hunt is on because the word is out on him being lazy and disconnected from this program. It’s evident in the play and lack of preparation in every game this year. He is checked out
These are tired excuses. Kelly is checked out and out of touch with the program. In this current iteration of college football you don’t need three years to build a playoff caliber team.

He was asleep at the wheel during the first portal window last year and from all the chatter that’s coming out now he isn’t exactly a ‘first one in the building, last one out the building’ type coach. We have major systemic issues and I don’t see them getting fixed unless there’s some major accountability conversations and movement in the offseason.
Don’t forget first he went “hmmm” like he didn’t know that happened. Dude is checked out. Throwing Frank under the bus isn’t going to work pal

They probably won’t let anyone go until after the recruiting class signs but that’s the least of our problems.

BK is checked out/out of touch with the program and Sloan either needs help, or to be removed, from the OC position.
