One thing about you Vol fans, you are so Bama and Florida whipped that you predict your own losses to them even in a year where the Big Orange is on an upswing. With that attitude you be lucky to beat anybody. Smh

With that schedule, less than 8-4 would be disappointing. Chaney is a big upgrade over Helton, and he already knows every team in the east. Three total cupcakes OOC. Trade WVU for BYU. Trade AU for a Miss State team that lost a lot on defense and will have a new qb. UK's defense will be a shell of last year's. Vandy lost Shurmur (I can't imagine they have another qb to fill his shoes right away) and a lot of defensive production. And you guys have significantly more talent than Mizzou or USCe, should win at least one of those.

If UT loses 6 in the regular season, there's a problem. 7-5 is basically same team as last year with an easier schedule. But I predict some improvement and an 8-4 season.

But that will require consistent QB play.

This is fake news. SC actually has depth now. Glad you’re shooting for moral victories though. Those three quarter wins have made you truly champions of life.

Is it three in a row you’ve lost? Five of seven to SC?

Sorry, we’re not Kentucky. We actually can beat you.

Hmmm. Those 3 quarters were the first 3, I assume. Y'all didn't drag anyone except yourselves to the sideline in the 4th Qtr., after we took the lead: ran 8 carries for 26 yds and 0 scores, passed 4 for 9 for 25 yds for 0 scores.

Meanwhile, we almost ran for 100 yds more against y'all than you did against us: we only threw the ball 16 times all game, but completed 11 of them, but had 25 yds more total offense than UTjr had for the game, with nearly 20 fewer offensive plays ran.

USC had 7 rushing gains of 10+ yds to UTjr.'s 7, and 4 gains of 20+ yds to UTjr.'s 0. Meanwhile, despite only throwing 16 pass attempts to UTjr.'s 39, we had 5 passing gains of 10+ yds to UTjr.'s 8, and equaled the Vols with 1 passing gain of 20+ - they had a 20-yd pass play, we had a 73-yd pass play.

Both defenses struggled with containment that day. The big question is how improved they will be for 2019. In 2017, USC sacked Guarantano 7 times in Knoxville. We only sacked him twice last season: our top edge rusher DJ Wonnum missed the previous 5 games to injury before returning for the Vols game - he got the only 2 sacks we had that game. He will be back for 2019, and he's bringing some friends with him!

Ignoring the rest of your moral victory post, you’d best remember daddy Muschamp is still coaching and Tennessee can’t seem to beat him.

In a true rivalry game, which Bama vs Tennessee is, you should always believe your team has a legit shot of winning on emotion alone. That’s what makes them special. In 1990, Bama had no business on paper to beat Tennessee but pulled it off on emotion alone. The field goal game with Phillip Doyle pulling through for Bama. I’ll never believe Bama doesn’t have a chance to beat Auburn or Tennessee regardless of talent or records.

That QB had Joe Moorhead as an OC for 3 years of his career though.

I don’t think they beat UK AND Vandy. LOSs are to thin. Injuries always happen and they’ll be thinner by the EOS. They’ll lose one or both.
