8/31 Georgia State-Win
9/7 BYU-Win
9/14 Chattanooga-Win
9/21 @Florida-Loss
10/5 Georgia-Loss
10/12 Mississippi State-Loss
10/19 @Alabama-Loss
10/26 South Carolina-Win
11/2 UAB-Win
11/9 @Kentucky-Win
11/23 @Missouri-Loss
11/30 Vanderbilt-Win

I think we go 7-5(3-5). It’s our easiest schedule in a long time.

6-6, back to a bowl, though I wouldn't be shocked for Tennessee to spring a surprise win and go 7-5

GSU, BYU, Chatt, UAB, Vandy are MOST likely wins

UGA, bama, @UF are MOST likely losses

MSU, SC, UK, Mizz tossups

Gun to my head right now let's call MSU and missouri losses and sc and uk wins. So 7-5.

I don’t see us pulling a surprise win this year. Alabama and Georgia are too strong, and I don’t see us beating UF in The Swamp. The rest of the games on our schedule are pretty much coin flips I’d say so I wouldn’t consider them a surprise win. I guess you could say @Mizzou maybe, all depends on if they give a shite this year with the bowl ban. Still think we lose that one though

Call me crazy, but I think you pick up a win from one of these three, but I'm not sure you beat SCAR. I'm gonna go with 7-5.

I'm also not sold on Florida. I think they have a better chance of going 6-6 than 10-2.

well they definitely aren't beating us. MSU is an odd one, it's like people think they are still in the dak glory days. They did 1 or 2 good wins last year but also got stomped by kentucky and lost to iowa. Who knows how good they actually are. And I'm with you in that I don't think UF is near as good as people are making them out to be, but they are probably better than UT and it's at home. Wouldn't surprise me to see them split with uf/msu.

I not believe UT will go bowling this year.

I believe UT will not beat Bama, UT, UF, SC, MSU or Mizzou and it is doubtful that they'll win at Kentucky.

They will show a bunch of improvement though.

They really need more players, especially in the trenches.

Their schedule is tougher than it looks. Say what you will about the East but the East is going to be very competitive this year plus they draw Bama and MSU from the West.

Could be a tough year in Knoxville. They are in one of those transition periods that might make or break the future of this current staff unless, even in losses, they show a lot of improvement on the field in terms of energy and enthusiasm .... which I thought they showed more of last season.

You'll win the first 3, and lose the rest.

Man I don't think I have ever felt this way about any Florida team. Good on you big dawg.

Tennessee will go 8-4 this year.

are people praising UK because of last year? UK doesn't strike me as a program that cna lose snell and allen and not miss a beat. Even last year with their best team in a long time they still got thrashed by ut.

UK definitely lost some players but Stoops has them competitive and it's at UK which is getting to be tougher and tougher to win at ... in their place.

Looking at UT they too take a step back in experienced talent this year IMHO. They lost some players and let's face it, some of their classes have been overrated. They've got some really decent skill players here and there but they are seriously lacking in the trenches right now. What compounds that problem is their schedule. They face the easier part of their schedule later in the season but they might well be limping into that part of their schedule by then.

ETA: Pruitt is going to have his work cut out for him trying to make sure this team doesn't get down and lose focus as this season progresses. They will suffer some early losses that, if not careful, could seriously damage their confidence. Kirby, Mullen and Saban will be out to spank them if they get the chance.

Tennessee absolutely must beat BYU. It's a must win game for them or else Vol fans might turn on them early.

Agreed. You don't lose as many players as Tennessee did to this years draft and not miss a beat.
