New fan. You do realize the least impressive line you faced all season rang up 45 points at DKR?

You know this right? Yikes!!!

I like how Bama fans will entertain the notion that they were schematically challenged in the late 2000s, but will not entertain the thought that Texas wins that national title fairly easy with an experienced QB. We were averaging 12 yards a play running some basic arse jets and curl patterns. Our defensive line was unblockable in passing situations.

Wasn’t referencing just the first drive. Sabans 260lb linebackers were struggling in space. We were running 4 plays.

LOL then what were you referencing?

One of those guys decapitated your QB.

And you had a whopping 276 yards of offense and 3.9 YPP.

Texas' offensive output in the title game (21 pts, 276 yds, 3.9 YPP) was roughly the same as Kentucky's earlier in the year (20 pts, 301 yds, 4.3 YPP).

2009 Kentucky finished #11 out of 12 SEC teams in Offensive YPP.

How often are they
-Heisman winning QB- Johnny
-Pro-Bowl WR- Evans
-Schools all time leading WR- Swope

All on the field together with an elite OL.

But I guess everybody finds those.

Everyone's point is that it was stars lining up, lightning in a bottle, insert third metaphor here kind of stuff. We got super lucky.

LSU did not whip Texas at the line on either side of the ball.

A bad angle by a 5* safety on 3rd & 17 was the difference in the game.

Most of the Texas DL was recruited by the SEC.

We’ll struggle at times, but we’ll be okay.

The linemen move with the speed of linebackers and the linebackers move with the speed of defensive backs. It's so obvious to see which teams that takes completely off guard especially at the beginning of games.

I know we ended up losing because of awful game management but the first half of the 2012 CFA bowl against Clemson, LSU was destroying them off the line.

Like the first or second play of the game LSUs ends literally exploded the first running play so bad that they injured Clemsons start running back. Just completely blew by the Clemson OL. It was incredible.

Sark knows what type of personnel are needed in this league. I have no doubt he's already started organizing and recruiting to that sort of standard.

We live in a perpetual state of having Heisman caliber QBs. That's not changing anytime soon.

We always have a good Oline. That's not changing anytime soon.

We always have good WRs. That's definitely not changing anytime soon.

We are back to recruiting elite RBs. That's not changing anytime soon.

The "stars" had to "line up" for aggie to "catch lightning in a bottle" to have a 10-2 season in the SEC with talent OU routinely has. Welcome to reality.

I mean, yea. I don't think anyone with a brain doubts Oklahoma will walk in and still be really good.

TU is built similar to the later Les Miles teams where there was no meat and all flash from a recruiting perspective. Their talent is at skilled positions. They will struggle hard. OU will be able to play games like Ole Miss and play shootout football their first year because they have talent on the offensive line. They'll have to outscore everybody though that D isn't built to shut teams down and they definitely will get gassed.

Texas won't get getting the calls against Bama like they do against Big 12 now. It will be in Bama favor. Also, Bama will be allowed to hold like crazy.

Not having stacked talent 3-deep at offensive and defensive line.

When you lose to a team 14 straight seasons you are not allowed to whine about officiating.
