stomping on the eye of the tiger during pregame will get you an unsportsmanlike penalty while a horn down will get you nothing.

c) Alabama getting all the calls
And it won't even be close.

And it won't even be close.

Officiating and Piss Balloons. It's bad enough having hard tortillas and batteries thrown at Texas Tech games..
We are used to dirty officiating though. Worst I've seen was a Texas vs Okie State game a few years back when Charlie Strong was yelling at a ref about a terrible call, and the ref intentionally leaned into Charle and bumped him, then threw a flag and ejected him from the game..

Why is it so bad? It’s even worse for basketball—if your team isn’t playing, it’s almost unwatchable
It’s unwatchable anyways. Go watch that dumpster fire that was Alabama at Arkansas last year.
Eta which is pretty ironic because a page ago was a pig fan bitching about bama getting calls. how rich.

For Texas, it will be the first time their administration tries to act like the bully it has always been and gets laughed at by the SEC. You can tell that it is going to be a big reality check for those boys that the entire world does not revolve around them.
It amazes me the amount of people that have not only convinced themselves of this but other people ?.. Simply because they don't even care to do a quick google search.
The Big 12 was made up of the Big 8 and Texas, A&M, Baylor, and Texas Tech from the SWC. That means at best Texas had 4 votes (33%) in a 12 team conference... In what way could Texas have possibly run the show. Did Texas have a big voice? Of course, we have been one of the top grossing if not the top grossing athletic department for many years. Sure they could have vetoed anything with those 4 votes but so could the original Big 8.. And all the Big 8 members had to do was flip one vote to get anything they wanted passed.
"One point of contention in the Big 12 was the unequal distribution of TV revenue, as was common in most other top conferences. Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma objected to equal sharing, according to former Commissioner Dan Beebe. Four votes gave them the ability to block revenue sharing votes. After his 2011 firing, Beebe said that Oklahoma, Nebraska, and even Texas A&M were interested in "developing their own distribution systems" for sports programs."
Wow.. You mean Texas wasn't the only school that wanted control over their tier 3 media rights?? I am absolutely shocked at this revelation. They all wanted their own network, Texas was the only one with the juice to actually make their own network actually happen. When it did, it was easy for the others to throw stones, cry about it, and blame Texas for being greedy and destroying the conference.
After Colorado and Nebraska left the vote came up again on whether to give control of all sports media rights to the conference and: "Following the near disaster in 2010, the other five pushed for a spring vote on a "Grant of Rights" deal that would grant all sports media rights of member schools to the conference. This would make it very difficult for a key school to leave. The proposal needed a 75% majority, but was defeated by Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M."
Wow... Would you look at that A&M and Oklahoma voted to veto giving up control of their own media rights along with Texas. I am just shocked at these revelations...
At this point, for Texas fans, the topic is just beating a dead horse..
It's all a bunch of BS spewed by Nebraska, A&M, and even further back SMU fans about Texas being the BIG bully that ruins everything..
Even the current teams in the Big 12's fans spew some of the same BS, even as their school's Admins go before the Texas state Senate to beg them to force Texas to stay...LOL! If Texas was so bad, wouldn't they welcome them leaving?

If LSU fans decide to throw batteries at you for some reason, it will be car batteries.

The famous rule against calling holding on Alabama OTs. It's impossible to call Alabama OTs for holding even though they hold tighter than that 4th ex wife to her alimony check.

Jordan-Hare Stadium voodoo is one of the most SEC things ever. I'm in awe of it and cannot wait for Texas/Oklahoma to experience the magic

What handful of fans make the hike out to Columbia are going to be pretty pissed to find the stadium is a mile off campus.
Whoever gets Columbia in September is going to understand that there is a level of heat beyond what exists in even Texas and Louisiana.
It’s a weather phenomenon that quite frankly should not exist, let alone be inhabited with a full arse city
