Or maybe all of the NFL defections, which I would add they were all drafted because Chavis made them look NFL caliber with his defense, finally caught up to you. The defense was inexperienced and too young to handle adversity like your veterans would have.

Your God damn right, soon. You realize you just used that image on yourself right?

I think their point is that the other 25% of the time is in two-minute situations.

And our point is if their offense wasn't so anemic their defense wouldn't have to defend a two point lead in the final two minutes every time they face a decent team.

Yea because A&M is just going to blow every team out.

Check out any of Florida's 3rd down conversion vs TENN 95-08

2001 vs UGA. The Dawgs stepped on his face with a hobnail boot.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not gonna blame our defense though if our offense doesn't score enough points to win the game.

Tennessee had some pretty good offenses

How quick do some of you all forget...Chavis' biggest blunder wasn't a 3rd down. It was 4th down. 4th down and 16 to go.
ETA: LSU was up 24-16 with 9:30 left to go. 12 points later....

We have this thing called an offense. Cam Cameron would be wise to look it up. With Aluminu...oops I mean Steele, he might need it.
Yet, your offense has been outscored by LSU the last 4 times they have played.

Lol is this a joke? The 3rd and Chavis nickname was coined when he was at Tennessee. Look up the 2001 SEC Championship, the 2001 Georgia game and the 2006 LSU game as starting points.
the 2006 Florida game, South Carolina 2005, Vanderbilt 2005, etc. His defense also was downright awful all year in 2007. he gave up 30+ points 10 times

Is their any evidence his great defenses on third down get worse in the 4th? I saw plenty of clutch 4th quarter play from LSU's defense the past 7 seasons.
yes there was actually a graph posted awhile back that showed chavis' numbers when the opponents have the ball in the 4th quarter in a one possession game. chavis' defense gave up the go ahead or tying score over half the time

So how many games did the LSU defense win, or put the offense in a great place to win, the last 7 years? 11 or 12 times a season?
doesn't matter if the defense put the team in position to win if his defense can't hold onto that lead when it matters most. your offense isn't always going to be able to blowout an opponent, and if my team has a small lead late, chavis is the last guy i want calling plays

If he stopped them three times in a row, the offense couldn't put points on the board in the 4th, does it still count as giving it up over half the time? Pitching a shutout in the 4th in a close game about half the time is actually pretty impressive.

Why do yall keep posting the Ole Miss 2013 game? Your offense didn't score a point for the first 39 minutes of the game. You never deserved to win
a football game is 60 minutes, though. Chavis coaches for about 58 of those.

The numbers say otherwise. Chavis routinely has top ten defenses and is great on third down.
