I actually read some of that. I now hate the beveled logo, whereas before I never really thought about it. And I don't even like A&M, but I hate when people frick with things just to frick with them.

Seriously. They make the bevel a bigger deal than it really is. I like no bevel better but as an outsider I can tell you that I've never thought about the geometric inaccuracies on your logo. 
why not just think about the non beveled as a silhouette of the logo? Simply put, every time i see aTm(beveled or not) i think of Texas A&M. Isn't that the goal?

Sorry about the length of the letter. Aggies really do want to know the opinions of SEC fans on the beveled logo. Most Aggies hate it and don't think it fits in the SEC.
As Maroon Flash stated there is going to be a Student Senate ballot questions added to the 2013 Fall Student Body Elections ballot.

The Texas A&M beveled logo is embarrassing. The thread was about SEC school logos. It doesn't make any sense for a University with programs in Engineering, Computer Visualization, Architecture, Construction Science and others curriculums with core classes in 3D rendering to have a logo that fails basic geometry. In addition to that it is aesthetically weak, unbalanced, and looks bad on small embroidered items such as hats. Leave The Bevel in the Big 12 where it belongs.

As far as aTm I would put the state outline on the helmet logo. I'd want to signify the state of Texas on everything to keep kicking UT in the nuts while they're down. Better keep kicking them while you can. At some point they're going to grow tired of it and take the state back.

Believe it or not both current and former students hate the Bevel. I am not an Engineering student if that is what you are implying. If the Bevel is so great why isn't it on the helmet?
