Greatest playoff run ever. So many great memories from those two months.

I love the new Braves. Yall kind of remind me of the Astros from a few years ago with Alutve, Springer, and Correa all young and inexperienced. However we had Cy Keuchel and few other decent arms and a huge influx of talent so it came together quickly. We didn't have a big hitter vet like Freeman though.

Yea, they are a fun group. The Astros have definitely been the comparison that a lot of people around here have been (hopefully) using.

Like Houston, we also have insane reserves of minor league studs to use as capital to bring in guys over the next year or two and tons of cash to make a few signings this offseason. But, most of all, it's just awesome to see all these young kids running around making plays and beating the shite out of people - very similar to that first year the Astros rose up.

Would love nothing more to have a couple SEC towns run MLB for the next decade

To be honest, no. All I remember was the blur of receivers running open for a half. But if you guys did sack Freddie a bunch then that's even more impressive than all the scoring, because Freddie was a fvckin refrigerator.

Wasn't he the backup in that game? I think Leonard Little knocked the starter out in the first quarter

Yea, he might have not started until the end of the year. If I remember correctly we started the season out with Brian Burgdorf at QB and at some point Freddie started playing.

That was sweet. The next several seasons of watching them choke in the playoffs sucked though.

You're welcome for 2004 and 2005. We owed you for 1997 and 1999.

Hogs return trip to the NCAA BB National Title Game. Winning the West in FB was sweet too. 1995 was a great year.

By then the whole thing was done. It was like watching Jordan play for the Wizards or Emmett Smith with the Cardinals. Honestly, it was more embarassing that the pathetic Phillies and Mets kept letting our rag tag bunch of randos and rookies win the NL East over and over than the fact that we then lost division series.

Bagwell and Biggio postseason numbers are shite because they had to face hall of famer after hall of famer in the first round. The ony time they didn't get you assholes roided up Kevin Brown had the series of his life.

Roidface Kevin Brown + all of Broward County Strike Zone = 1997 NLCS. Fvck 1996 and 1997

The craziest thing about our whole run is that, for all the choking, the single best team we played in the playoffs in all 14 years was the 1995 Cleveland Indians. And they were the team we beat to win the World Series. Go figure.

Paul Sorrento, Carlos Baerga, Omar Vizquel, Jim Thome, Albert Belle, Kenny Lofton, Manny Ramirez, Eddie Murray, Sandy Alomar, old Dave Winfield. Dennis Martinez, Charles Nagy, old Orel Hershiser, Jose Mesa. That team was stupid. The fact they didn't win anything is absurd.
