Jordan wasn’t in the NBA in 1993-1995.

My only saving grace as a little 10 year old sitting in Legion Field that night was hearing the PA announcer say "Atlanta Braves 6, Cincinnati Reds 0, Braves advance to the World Series".

Everything else was shite

What a great night

It was a pretty lackluster year for me, apparently.

Geez, so nothing of note really happened sportswise in ‘95, it seems.

How did the Braves only win one title with the rotation they had? They had 4 hall of famers in their prime.

That was the last time the 49ers won a Super Bowl, wasn't it? Same for the Braves, last World Series win was in 1995.

Were there any other teams that had big wins that would be their last in 1995?

That was UCLA basketball's most recent national title as well

'95 Rockets were the only team to beat a 3 seed, 2 seed, and 2 1 seeds. How sweet it is.

They mastered the art of playing in the World Series with both hands around their necks. Especially in 1996.

I need beer now for having to remember that.

Barely a baby then. Which I'm happy of. I'd hate to be in my 40's or 50's right now

Man... I don't know what got into you about making a random thread about 1995, but I sure am enjoying it. That Rockets team was great. Thanks, SoG.
