Just like the shite you guys pulled last year. We had 40 minutes of possession to your 20. We ran 30 more plays. 30 freakin plays. We were 10 out of 20 on 3rd down. You were 1 of 9. You had 1 completion for zero yards in 28 2nd half minutes. We "missed" or gave up 4 Fgs for 12 points. Does this shite sound familiar? Am I playing the role of an alabama fan well. You guys didn't win it, LSU lost it. We gave you the game. This game shouldn't count.

He had a big hole to run through...game over if we score there.

Not taking anything away from LSU but up to that point we had control of the game.

That's twice in the the last two seasons Bama turns the ball over in the redzone against LSU.
This time Bama was able to overcome it.

bama's has been pumped up and prepping all season for this game because they knew we were the only obstacle between them and Atlanta. We took their best shot and came within a couple of minutes of winning even though we played like crap.

But he didn't get a td. He fumbled the ball. So the game wasn't over.

Anything else to talk about, or more what ifs on his fumble?

Eh, LSU had just driven down the field to make it 14-10, and looked better than us in the first quarter. They gave us the good field position there as well. LSU fans are going a little too all in about how dominant they were, but we didn't really have control of the game. We might have if Yeldon had scored there (given the blocking it looked like he could have).

If....
Oregon, KState, ND lose 2 more games between now and Dec 2nd;

Fla St, Fla loses another game;

Bama beats Georgia to hand them their 2nd loss and finishes undefeated;

I will have absolutely no issue to Bama/Lsu Part II-2012 in Miami.

LSU played a great game. Mett was finally living up to his lofty potential. Yes there were some questionable coaching calls, but to say your team played like crap is ridiculous.

It was a well played game by LSU, Bama was lucky to escape with a win

What? We played like crap? We probably played bama better than any team has since 2010 last night. But, like in life, it is a lot better to be lucky than good.
Bama played good too, they were just a little more lucky than lsu last night.

The Florida loss is irrelevant to this topic.

I thought LSU's offense played about as well as they could really. Mettenberger was pretty close to perfect. After some early drops the receivers played better than they had all year. Hill was good, the OL was great.

I was actually surprised by how well both OL's played. I thought each DL had a bit of an advantage coming in. LSU didn't necessarily gash us but ran the ball at a consistent 3-5 yard pace and picked up our blitzes for the most part. We averaged 6.6 yards per carry (if you had told me we would do that I would have just chalked up a win) and kept Mingo and Montgomery from being a big factor.

For most of the game he difference was the QB's, just in a way I wouldn't have expected. AJ was shite until the final drive, Mettenberger was brilliant.
