I thought Alabama was going to crush Clemson.

Boy was that wrong.

Last years Clemson team was better than this ones. This years is a product of an awful schedule and an Ohio State Chokejob. I expect LSU to win easily

Last year WT called it down to the score for Clemson...this year he’s on the LSU bandwagon...will he repeat on his power of prognostication this year?

We can see that... you guys are just like Texas Florida Bama. Georgia and Oklahoma during game week. LSU flash in pan. LSU one year wonder. LSU will return to earth LSU has not faced a defense as good as ours. LSU soft on defense.

That is why the game gets played on the field.

This years Clemson squad is better at QB, RB, OL, WR,LB, and DB compared to last years team. If LSU wins tonight they’ll have beaten a far better version of the Clemson team that curb stomped Overrated Bama last year. Just saying.

Literally every single solitary thing went wrong for Bama in that game. I doubt LSU gets 3 points out like Bama did in their last 6 redzone visits

I also think Burrow at 23 years old is much more knowledgeable and won’t be fooled by Venables like a 19 year Old Tua was last year.

Billy T's been predictably quiet this week with this being the matchup he didn't want.
He fell madly in love with Clemson's Fabio looking QB this time last year.

I keep on hearing this fact repeated as if it’s the ultimate unfair advantage

1000x this.

this narrative has been brewing and recently they've started drawing Zach Von Rosenberg into the mix. I mean c'mon. Seriously? in any other case our 23 year old QB is simply a 'fifth year senior'. Suddenly it is some kind of unfair advantage?

Maybe im not listening to the right thing but i have literally never heard anyone even mention this until this thread. I didnt even know joe burrow was 23 yrs old.

Likewise on this front. Glad you guys beat OSU because I was worried about their pass rush. Playing Clemson makes me feel more confident.

The spread actually opened at 4.5 points, but has grown a full point over the course of the last couple of days. Not only is the spread growing, but the number of bets continue to pour in favor of LSU. The SEC Tigers are currently receiving 79 percent of the bets placed.

Be a contrarian and bet Clemson.

Saban admitted afterwards that the Bama practices lading up were stale and lacked energy.

The players crowned themselves before the game......LSU's are quite the opposite this go around.

Bama definitely looked flat as hell last year. And the “punches” the Clemson D-line was throwing up from the start shell shocked.

We’ll see what the Clemson D can do, but LSU has played with high energy all season long. Cannot imagine them being flat.

Chris Weinke was like 30. How is this an advantage?

Bama fans and team were all very confident. The 24-6 Sugar Bowl win over Clemson in the Semis the year before fed into it. Offense was thought to be improved and Tua looked healthy vs OU, who was thought to be second best team.

Clemson had ND and few respected them anymore than their ACC schedule.

It was a surprise how soundly Bama was beaten. More surprising was the effectiveness of Clemson's bend but don't break defense. They absorbed a good Bama offense and clamped down when the field shortened and or got pressure/big plays/turnovers when needed. Great game plan by Venables. You never would have guessed the final score if you only looked at the box score stat line.

Their were very few Non-Bama fans wanting to see Saban win another championship last year. That was the biggest difference in last year to this year. It also fed the off season Clemson dickriding gang.

Hoping for a big LSU win tonight. No one deserves it more than Coach O.
