The QB didn't have anything to do with Fournette running all over Auburn Saturday. There are a lot of prelims on that team. That being said I am not sure Alabama is any in better condition that Auburn. Maybe a little better but surely not good enough to get it done this year.

When will you people learn?
Derek Dooley was sent by Saban to ruin Tennessee from the inside. It is still paying dividends.
Will Muschamp helped Saban bring down Texas in the title game. He ruined Florida. Now he is doing the same at Auburn.

biggest problem is:
1. lack of development by LBs. Frost has speed and size, but he really does not play like an SEC LB with 3+ years of experience. This also applies to McKinzie.
2. JJ imploded. I guess when the lights are on he can't perform.
3. Lack of quality depth on defensive line. Adams is good, but others are either inexperienced or have failed to develop.
4. Gus is hard headed and Lashlee is basically a cabin boy

That's the thing. The SECr didn't use to suck this bad. You're right about it now, though.

Auburn has a leadership problem.
This seems to be true, thus far. It sounds crazy, but I think our new QB will bring some leadership to at least the offense this week.

Muschump forgot to tell defenders that the game is tackle football not two hand touch.

This. Post this on the AU Board.

He clearly popped too many blood vessels in his head screaming at Florida players to ever be a fully functional coach again

Yes he failed as head coach, but he's been an outstanding DC.
Keep telling yourself that. The curse thing is silly, I know. But, truthfully the guy seems to have a black cloud of bad luck following him wherever he goes.

Muschamp, he's like a disease.

When was the last time Muschump was an excellent DC?

Maybe it's as simple as they were an 8-5 team last year, and have downgraded at the most important position.
Maybe the hype was misplaced. Maybe expecting this team to compete for championships was unrealistic to began with.
Add the Lawson injury and coaching turnover on top of that and perhaps this Auburn team is performing exactly the way they should be performing.
Maybe I'm wrong, but you asked for honest football discussion and I'm as perplexed as anyone. This explanation seems to make the most sense to me, but what do I know?

Why are you asking the know nothing on this board?
Our real issues are qb and awful recruiting leading to no depth on defense.
When you only sign 9 players in a class not on the oline, you are going to suck.
When you only sign and keep 2 DE (one of which is always hurt) and 1 DT combined over 2 (two) recruiting class, you will suck

Stop trying to make snowboard cam a thing.

Every Auburn quarterback henceforth will be known as something "Cam". It's kind of cute if you ask me.

Don't know what's up with the defense. Ellis Johnson is a great DC and he failed there with a lot of talent.

Good, good, let people think they work for Saban and not Evil Richt. Our plan is working perfectly :evil laugh:
