A Florida prospect who committed to a now-departed Texas coach without even visiting Austin decommits to follow him to another school? That's so very shocking.

IDGAF it's shocking or not. We got him. We also got a commitment from ya boy Zion Williams from Lufkin.

Losing Bo Davis is bad enough, but Sark replaced him with a dude from Western Kentucky. We're going to have to Phil Knight our way to top DL talent because he is a complete nobody.

Many of the top uncommitted recruits in the top 250 are leaning Texas. I would look for Texas to move up and finish in top 10 come signing day.

This was updated today:

Two Rivals futurecasts have been flipped from Texas to Ohio State for elite 5 star LB Riley Pettijohn.

He announces his commitment tomorrow.

Sounds like Texas is in third for him, following tOSU and USC. Most Texas fans don’t think he’ll sign. Kade Phillips 4 star DB commits tomorrow, Texas expects to get him (competing with LSU).

We will see an unprecedented number of flips on Signing Day. Texas will be fine. Money will be talking on Signing Day.

Of course they will.

But this is July.
No sports.
And it’s hotter than a stolen tamale outside.

Just go with it, k?

I wonder how many Texas fans pay good money to read this guy's horse shite. There literally is not a worse recruiting "insider" on the internet.

I do think Moore will either sign with Texas or portal to Texas after a year or two.

His family is all Texas. Kid wants to do something different. Like every kid ever. He'll accomplish that. And he'll miss home.

If tx is counting on that they have big issues. Right now they lost a lot of recruit battles this week alone.

They can go after other recruits with less stars to fill the spots lost or gamble that most of these losses flip.

Thats not good strategy. You can’t not fill those spots. And if you fill them with less but good players - and then bring in a bunch of last day flips - you upset those a bit less who thought they were the top of their position.

Its not good strategy to count on flips. It can hurt in many ways. No way to sugarcoat but they lost some big recruits that won’t come back and flip.

The transfer portal is definitely still a thing.

.
Most of the flips won’t be last day, it will be weeks or months prior to signing day. If a kid doesn’t want to compete for a job then they probably shouldn’t be playing collegiate athletics.

To be fair, the kids circle did an amazing job keeping everything quiet. With both Sark and Lanning on his live stream it seemed like nobody really knew where he was going to go.
