That's not what I said. Mississippi State was never under suspicion and never investigated.

Their boosters were.

You also have to admit, if you are going to believe all the other stuff(not necessarily you VC) with Cam, then State did something shady as well. They didnt report the Cam shite, which they knew about since the fall, until he signed with Auburn. And even then, when asked, they refused to hand over their info for another 5-6 months

Despite the apparent fact that their HC and his staff were aware of the negotiations between Rogers and Cecil, and not only failed to notify their compliance staff in a timely manner, they continued to recruit Cam right up until he signed with AU. Both of which are clear NCAA violations, if true.

Seems to me like they didn't take the Rogers claim that he could provide Cam's services for a price very seriously either. Maybe it was all bullshite?

Mullen waited until Febr. before he even mentioned anything about the Cam recruitment to the SEC office.

January, they released the docs on it in June or July

The only thing I take from the situation is that Mullen learned a lot of valuable lessons in a short period of time. Lessons on several different levels

What dumbasses fail to realize is Ceil shopped Cam to MSU with the help of Rogers((MSU Grad). It was admitted by Rogers it was his idea. When the planned started to collapse he moved on. AU was investigated like no one else and was determined clean. Deal with it.

n this country you have to actually have evidence before you can convict someone outside the court of public opinion. Your example of Auburn/Cam proved that is the case even in sports. Auburn was looked at and investigated as thoroughly as anyone in the history of the NCAA in relationship to Cam. They found nothing and even complimented AU for it's compliance. The problem is the fans of other schools can not accept it. That is the lesson that the Auburn/Cam Situation taught us: Fans opinion's do not mean shite.

OJ Simpson was also found not guilty. Everybody in the CFB world, including Auburn fans, knows Cam was paid, and paid lots. You can try and pretend otherwise, but you know the truth deep down. Money trails can be covered, people can be paid to lie or turn their heads. My guess is that a back room deal was made. Bobby Lowder and Milt McGreggor were basically told to stay away from the program for a reason. Cam was paid, and paid lots. That’s why he came to play at Auburn for that one season.

OJ was indicted and found not guilty by a jury. They had evidence that the jury ignored. The NCAA did not find evidence on AU and in fact complimented them. When the LAPD does that with OJ , get back with me. lol.
