Alabama’s dominance has seemed to fade. And Clemson was never a dynasty. Don’t let me get started about that.

So what team could be the next dynasty? Or could their be balance in the football world for the near future?

My opinion on teams that have the right ingredients going for them to potentially be a dynasty.

Ohio state. ( great coach, and recruiter has a good foundation to build on Right now)

LSU ( great coach that knows how to recruit the best talent. Knows how to win big games)

Oregon ( Mario is a fantastic coach wouldn’t put it past him)

Alabama( would be with a new coach IMO. They have that prestige and greatness about their school that players will still play there.

What do y’all think??

Clemson will win the ACC for the next decade and Dabo is a great coach. I could see them winning a couple of more national championships with their location and current set up

I'll go with the school coming off the 15-0 season that currently has a winning streak vs every SEC team

That sounds like a good choice.

Do they have any notable award winners as of late?

TIA!

You'll likely not see another dynasty for a decade or longer.

If being 100 % honest it is going to be tough keeping up with Ohio State in the future with the way that they are recruiting and Ryan Day.

With that said, I like LSU with Coach O to stay in the mix.

I don't think you'll see another dynasty for a little bit. Talent is concentrating at the elite programs, but within that small category of programs, there is a high degree of parity.

Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas are the five programs that have multiple Top 5 classes in the class four recruiting cycles, including the current 2021 standings.

Clemson is not one of those teams, but you can add them in there because they have a pretty phenomenal QB lineage set up with DJ Uiagalelei following Trevor Lawrence.

Oregon? Maybe. Long way to go for them. I think Texas is a more likely pick for a dark horse team.

FSU/Miami have to massively improve to dethrone Clemson in the joke known as the acc.

Lol. First of all they Have played in the worst/ 2nd worst power 5 conference anybody can make the playoffs playing 1 good team all season. And i believe they are 1-3 vs the best conference in football.
They have A win vs Oklahoma which everyone has beaten. And Ohio state last year which was debatable with bad calls.

A dynasty is a team that is dominant vs EVERYONE for a long period of time. And Clemson has only been dominant in their conference for about 4 years. Remember when they couldn’t beat FSU?

Texas can't keep in state talent and will likely have a new coach again soon. Oklahoma is light years ahead of Texas, young good coach, seems to be a Heisman Finalist (and winning it) QB machine. There is not anyone in the ACC close to being able to keep up with Clemson much less 2, unfortunately, and we will have to hear from those jerk offs for a long time. LSU had an unbelievable season last year but there is no reason to believe it won't be less like 2010 Auburn right now and more like Bama during their run is there? Ohio State won't be a dynasty, they are good for an unexplainable loss every year it seems like, although nobody in that conference is close to pushing them annually. I really don't see another dynasty for 10-15 years, so it is impossible to predict who it will be

I'd say OSU or Clemmy just bc they get no real push back in their conferences.

It pays to be the only show in town unfortunately.

Georgia Tech and UNC are both now consistently recruiting in the top-20. So there should be a few teams with at least a chance of stealing a win

I think the obvious answer is Mississippi State

Texas can't keep instate talent

Your post lost all credibility with that sentence alone. Looking at the recruiting since Herman took over proves your claim is false. Texas has been recruiting elite talent the last 3/4 years. Texas issue terrible playcalling not recruiting hell they signed top three recruiting classes in 18 & 19. I believe Herman just hired a new OC and DC we will see if that will make Texas finally turn the corner.

There footprint in college football and on into the NFL is starting to get a little freaky. They are slowly but surely becoming the only real show in the North.

Clemson/Oregon/OU all have higher chances simply because they have no real competition

OSU maybe but I'm not sold on Day. He walked into a gold mine want to see how he does on his own.

SEC has six freaking programs that could do it if things fall right.

If I had to guess one..it's Clemson. Because ACC.

The answer is probably Clemson if Dabo stays, but will he?

Ohio State is having a very good start to the Day era. Is 1 full year without even one win in the Playoff enough to predict a dynasty, though? I don't think so.

O & LSU had the stars align last season, but so did Gus in a very similar fashion once upon a time. What makes LSU a more likely dynasty? It's still early to call that a dynasty in the making.

Bama is Bama, but most of us are old enough to remember when Bama wasn't Bama. 86 Saban and there's no guarantee - none. Real question is: Does Dabo jump ship?

Georgia belongs on the list. They've recruited better than any school in CFB, and historically the team with the best talent will win championships. However, that's only the last 3 years, and Kirby still has questions to answer.
