Arkansas has faired about like everyone else against Bama since 1992, going 8-14 against the Tide.

Meh. AU is 12-11 vs Bama since then. 16-13 if you go back to post '85.
Been a long time since bama was better than AU on the football field for any significant period. Longer than most here have been alive.

I don't think "look forward to" is the right phrase. A lot of teams look forward to playing Alabama now simply because it's a chance to take down the big dog. While we were not as formidable from 2000-2007 as we had been in the past, we were no picnic either. For instance...we routed Arkansas in 2001 and 2002. We routed Florida in 2005. We routed Ole Miss in 2000, 2002, and 2004. We routed Mississippi State in 2003, 2004, and 2005 (shutting them out in two of the three games). We routed South Carolina in 2005. We routed Tennessee in 2002. And we hung tough with many of the big dogs until the fourth quarter, losing in the end due to inferior talent and depth. In those 7 years, with the exception of three or four games, we were in all of those games until late.
