Yea everyone associated with the program is thrilled to have him back. They say he is an inspirational motivator. Although the last coach did a great job too (not sure why he left). I had graduated by the time he was hired the first time, but the young guys and lil brothers of buds I know would have died for him. He definitely fixed the mess my crew left the program in (we sucked arse after we lost Coach Rector)

Yea hard to determine who is more loaded. We still had the Nolensville crowd at Ravenwood when I was there, can't imagine RHS without the Nolensville folks (so many funny people from there).

I fricking loved that WV redneck, but man, he had no business ever getting hold of that program (great OL coach though). He was just too nice and unintimidating for a head coach. We went from Brian Rector, who was a mean, son of bitch Patton like general that forced us to be excellent to a guy that would bring ice cream trucks to two-a-days. If Brentwood kids aren't pushed to their limits, then they typically start to suck as a team in my experience.
And yea, I remember hearing about the guy they hired that they then found out had a criminal record 24 hours later. And they followed it up hiring a guy that made the WV redneck seem like Bear Bryant.

Having zero to get excited about for a long time sure helps, even our basketball team shits the bed in big moments.
Additionally, people have been talking shite on Tennessee year in and year out forever, like poking an animal in a cage. So naturally when the cage opens it gets ugly. You saw the same thing in 2019 with LSU. People trolled LSU so much after the 2011 natty, in 2019 they took this board over and everyone had to sit there and take it.
As for real life outside of this board I think the Tennessee fans took a lot of shite personally. They heard all year that LSU was gonna take their coach, called classless and nasty by Paul and even implied they were racist. Obviously they didn’t take kindly to that and it showed this weekend. Paul’s apology just fanned the flames. There’s stupid people on both sides, I don’t agree with booing Paul but it is what it is.
