pickwick

I had to snicker at that, you claiming Pickwick is an Alabama lake when I grew up fishing that lake Tennessee and Mississippi people always argued over who owned Pickwick.

Sardis was my favorite bass fishing lake, and Reelfoot is pretty damn good too.

Beginning tomorrow though, as I do annually, I’ll be on the first or second best bass fishing lake in the country at Santee Cooper (Marion and Moultre) for the next eight days and the only other lake that even compares is maybe, maybe, Okeechobee down in Florida near where one of my daughters live.

Even Lake Murray, where I live now and grew up, is a better bass fishing lake than Smith or Wheeler IMHO.

Last year, during this same yearly fish camp my busies and I do at Santee Cooper, one of the guys landed a damn 10 pd 6 oz black bass fishing for trot line baitfish with minnows and a cane pole. We released it of course but that’s typical of the black bass we have here at Santee Cooper.

Ask Roland Martin.

I'd actually thought about mentioning SC. Never been fishing there but kinda want to make a trip out there do some fishing and sight seeing. I mentioned Pickwick to see if I could rustle some feathers. Sardis is for crappie fishing.

Are you just pretending that A&M isn’t in the SEC? :) lol. As an Auburn grad who lives in Louisiana, i enjoy the in state rivalry from afar, plus I pretty much hate the entire state of Alabama except for the little tiny dot that is Auburn - mainly because of my racist relatives who live in Birmingham - fvck them.

Alabama for football
Kentucky for basketball
LSU for baseball

Otherwise I'll just stay in Florida for the all around weather, women, and total overall sports domination that I'm currently enjoying.

Judging by that order, it appears you dislike cold weather, EastCoastBand.

I live in Nashville. From Georgia. Lived in South Carolina.

1.Texas-but nowhere near College Station. Probably somewhere like New Braunfels.
2.Kentucky-maybe? Lexington and Louisville arent awful and have good alcohol.

Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Missouri, and Arkansas are all shite holes and I would never move there. Id rather move back to South Carolina, and thats one of the shittiest places on earth.

I’d consider Tenn, Florida, & Georgia. Maybe Kentucky, probably not. Definitely no where else.

I’ve lived in AL, GA, TX, MO, TN and I live in Fort Lauderdale now. I’d probably say FL but only South of West Palm where there is good weather year round. Can’t beat the Keys either. Austin is great but #Big12Board
