I agree. But you have to remember MS only has 3 million population, and in the past, less than that. Additionally, MSU and OM share the state, so that's a big disadvantage from the very start. And that is the biggest reason MSU has zero national titles.
and yet, one of the 'Sipp schools has 6 conference titles and 3 national titles. one of them just watched the confetti fall inside the superdome after winning the sugar bowl....imagine that

I don't buy the state population argument. Alabama and Auburn have been very successful, despite having fewer people than Missouri or Tennessee, all the while 'sharing' the same state.
North Carolina and Virginia have tons of people and neither state has done much in football.

True so true, it's the way I welcome opposing fans to my tailgates all the time. Here catch. They fall for it every time.

Zero titles, in any sport.......
I'm not saying I don't respect MSU. I'm just saying you really have to reach for reasons to respect them.

I respect every team in the SEC. Vanderbilt is the street hooker of the league in terms of football but they make up for it in the smaller sports where they are pretty competitive. I was a big fan of the SEC even before we joined.

40,000 posts in three and a half years. Let's not kid ourselves and claim that you're actually employed..
..Or actually married
..Or actually do anything at all other than troll a message board
If you do have children I'd advise giving them a legitimate shot at succeeding and letting them live with their (maternal) grandparents. You're a product of your parents shortcomings as individuals - I would hate to see them drop the ball with your kids as well.

I equate the football program with the head coach. While there is no head coach I have zero respect for I probably have the least amount of respect for Kevin Sumlin. He makes Mark Richt look like a control freak.
Sorry ags, no hard feelings.

And yet you are behind UK and Vandy - the least successful program in conference history. The lowest rung of the totem pole.

Well some of it has been bad luck.

Isn't this like your 8th alter? It's pretty obvious who you are, going for the post count burn already? Pretty sad.

What has Ole Miss ever done?
They beat us last year.
They have cool, powder blue uniforms they should always wear.
They'd have a really cool mascot if they'd just get their frigging fat butts around to renaming the group of players they've broken so many NCAA rules paying to come to their school the Land Sharks.

You should, but Missouri,Tennessee are unlike Mississippi in that they don't have the same demographics as MS. In other words, comparatively much lower AA percentages. North Carolina is a bit of a mystery, but has always valued basketball first. Virginia is no mystery.

What the frick are you talking about? I've literally seen you drop "the list" 10 times in the past 2 days. Just get some new material

Is it just me, or is he making his own case for either absorption by OM or flat out relegation to some regional FCS conference?
And, if the former, how sad is it that Ole Miss is the overachiever?
