I used to think that we had friendly fans until I saw how some of our people were treating Texas fans at the seccg. It was embarrassing and i literally apologized to one family with kids who got cussed out and barked at by some old drunk white trash Georgia fans.
“Fredo, you're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever”

As an Auburn fan, the worst were at Georgia and Alabama. I know plenty of excellent fans at both but the taunting can get extreme.
The only truly bad experience was at LSU but it occurred at the same time as my best experience. I was chased by a bunch of LSU fans throwing glass bottles at me. Followed by amazing tailgating and hospitality. Then an lsu fan opened a tab at Chimes for our Auburn group to get free food/drinks. This was after we lost by about 50 pts.
The absolute worst fan bases come from California though.

State (football) fans have pretty much always been some of the nicest and most polite people I've ever met.

Lsu by far the worst. And that's including Texas fans lol.

I honestly had a blast with LSU fans in 2012. Their message board heathen are another story.

Tennesee going to get a lot of hate in here but that is skewed by the alters. They are in the top 5 in person.

Thursday night game 2009
That game was legendary. Birth of Sandstorm, rain, Eric Norwood playing like the best LB in CFB, Jevan Snead (rip) and McCluster.
Absolutely a whale of a night for the home crowd.
I kinda miss those Thursday night SEC games. There were some solid games in there for a while.
