In the last 15 years, the following coaches lost to Vandy in their first season as a SEC coach.

Hugh Freeze lost in 2012.

Mark Stoops lost in 2012.

Kirby Smart lost in 2016.

Billy Napier lost in 2022.

Kalen Deboer lost in 2024.

Who am I leaving off?

I have a new found appreciation for Vandy.

Vandy has a more recent win vs UGA than Tennessee does. Recognize.

It doesn't happen a lot.

However, quite a few have lost to Vandy in their last season as a SEC HC.

4 of those coaches inherited programs in bad positions and 1 coach inherited a well oiled machine. That makes losing to Vandy wayyyy worse

Right here, after back to back 10 win seasons, is when Kirby lost to Vanderbilt.

Archer's last year. Todd Kinchen's apparent game-winning TD was called back because of OPI. My foot still hurts from when I kicked an Ottoman across the room in my apartment.

Good thing most Bama fans here are over 31 years old. Then we would have two things to deal with.

Maybe Kalen Deboer was dealing with an upcoming birthday. Who can be expected to deal with that?

I didn’t think I could have a lower opinion of you than I already did. Your turning 31 post proved I was wrong.

Hall of Fame coach, Dan Devine. In his first year as Missouri head coach, the Commodores traveled to Columbia, MO and beat the Tigers 12-8
