We know you regret firing Barnes but you don’t have to melt so hard about it

You fools will never learn. Likely a loss in the sweet 16 and guaranteed loss in the elite 8 if not.
if you try long enough, eventually you’ll break through. I think Tenner is a F4 team this year.

Rick is one of my all-time favorite Texas coaches (of any sport), but after 17 or 18 seasons at Texas I think he was burned out, or got complacent, or something. He consistently got us in the big tournament, but we would almost always go home after one or two games. Sometimes you just need a fresh start. I still root for the guy when he's not playing us.

So, I really dislike Tennessee and their fans. But, yes, Rick Barnes is one great coach and, like John Caliparai, an example of what can happen to a team when a good coach is hired and players believe in their coach.

A future college basketball HOF coach can actually coach. Novel concept no doubt.

These "search firms" scamming Universities really do overthink hires sometimes when proven commodities like a Rick Barnes becomes available

Amen. Vol....Amen. Our last 4 out of 5 coaches have been persons of color, and were not the best options.

Sounds racist, and I don't mean it to be. But, just an observation.

But then again, we are Mizzou. A transgender, paraplegia, transgener, vertically-challenged Asian-American couldn't help us win, although I am sure we would hire that individual.
