that was against a much easier team that didn't require as much attention as this one.

also pelini was in a easier spot being the hc of the huskers.

It can still be done but i dont think its quite the same circumstances

I guess he clears that with the school beforehand and they just accept that his priority will be preparing for the game.

Look Superman just because Alabama plays football the way they have always played it there's no reason why you can't have a good downfield passing attack that complimnents our type of football and running game but don't get me wrong this type of football has won us plenty of championships but we seem to get vanilla at times with this coordinator and it would be nice to actually be more than just a strong running attack.

Don't see it happening. He knows that hes gotta start recruiting for CSU. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other, but from the tone of the article, i wouldn't see him staying.

I suspect he will if asked but him and Saban are not on the greatest of terms I suspect after Memphis.

If they think McElwain is their man, then one recruiting class isn't worth losing him over his willingness to want to coach his offensive guys in one last game. The NCG, no less.

LSU 11 is much better than tosu 07 and requires more focus, along with csu being a tougher spot than the huskers so more work needs to be done at csu than bo had to do with the huskers

Personally, I care more about Championships, than looking "pretty".

pretty interesting. I, for one, am appreciative of what Mcelwain has achieved with our offense while he has been here. That being said, I don't think it is a bad thing that he is leaving. We shall see.

He's referring to the report about Saban allegedly giving McElwain a "less than glowing review" over the phone to the Memphis U AD.

sorry, i can't respond to those who create paragraph long single sentences.

i still want a response from the guy who claimed, maybe that a new OC is coming in the redzone offense would be more effective against LSU.

guess him or the rest of the Gumps don't realize they didn't make it to the RedZone against LSU on November 5th.

If your team ran as much as your sentences then there wouldn't be a need for a downfield passing attack.

It's not about looking pretty it seems we can't throw the ball and against a good defense it makes us a bit one demensional and we struggle with continuity but I do appreciate what McElwain has done it just won't hurt my feelings if he leaves as I think that our offense is our only weakness.

I can't believe some of you can't see how great of a coordinator McElwain was.

Some of you sound like lsu fans when they lost fisher.

McElwain and fisher are equals imo

Are you talking to me? It was a flippant answer in which I never mentioned LSU. Do you realize that Bama has other opponants then LSU?
