Front seven depth again.

Also halfway serious about our place kicker. Can't be giving away points in this league.

Randy Shannon is a good LB coach when he has stud recruits from Miami. That's all we really know about him.

I would agree with this, however we at least have some experience lining up at that position. I'm going with te because I couldn't tell you who's going to start there... Christian Morgan would be the only name I could come up with and he's hurt... I know in the offense the te isn't the most important position, however if we have a streak of games where we can't run block again this year, I think we'd rather have a te on the field blocking rather than a wr.

Defensive End.
We have talent there, but replacing Mingo and Montgomery will be tough.

LB is a concern, but I'm more concerned about the QB position. Will B Allen make the strides needed and take command like we need him to? What if he goes down, can Derby step in and manage the game?

With new starters there are always question marks. That being said, Clock Manager always seems to be a problem for LSU.

In order:

1. Defensive Line depth. Depth is VERY YOUNG (at least 4 true freshmen will play)

2. Linebacker. See #1 - at least 3-4 true freshmen will play

3. Wide Receiver depth. Same song. At least 5 true freshmen will play

4. Kicker: Still Bertolet

DL. IMO we don't have a dominant NG to plug up the middle like we have had every year since 08. We have lots of talent at DE however, it's just that it really should be considered a question mark until we see em suit up. Saban has said that he isn't worried about the OL and I really like the talent we have in the secondary.

Defensive front 7 is a concern, w/ the biggest ??? being DE.

We need to replace two starters at LB, and one starter at DT, but we have a lot of good competition for those spots. I'm fairly confident the answer will reveal itself.

DE is another story, though. No one on campus has, thus far, shown the ability to rush the passer like Damontre Moore or Sean Porter. And the incoming freshman DE that might eventually fit that bill, Daeshon Hall, isn't physically ready for the SEC.
