Some are pretty obvious - for most LSU fans it's the Saints (except for the Cowboy fans up in the north part of the state). And I found a lot of Bama fns to be Saints fans as well. I'd assume Georgia fans are Falcons fans, etc.

But I'm not sure about schools like Auburn, Kentucky, etc.

So, what NFL team do you consider yourself a fan of.

However, I am personally a Broncos fan.

N. Bama fans = Titans fans

South 'Bama fans = Saints fans

East 'Bama fans = Falcons Fans

West 'Bama fans = Falcons/Saints fans.

Its a huge melting pot of NFL fans and of course you throw in a mixture of other teams. It's fricking weird.

When it comes to baseball, it seems like 75% of people in 'Bama = Braves fans.

ETA: I don't think a lot of 'Bama fans have an NFL team that they are 100% with. I think that is why 'Bama football is as strong as it is.

Most people who are LSU alums are Saints fans. It's the La Tech folks and people who grew up in Shreveport and have never even been to south La. that are Cowboys fans. It's split about 50/50 up there. The black guys usually pull for whichever team is better at the time (judging from the flags on their cars).

That is very true too. Like I said it's fricking weird.

However, when coming up with this list. I guess I was thinking more AU/UA combined. Just people in that region in general. But, you are right.

I know all of zero Titans fans. Most Alabamians I know root for the Falcons, with a distant second(myself included) pulling for the Saints.

I've noticed that these 2 groups are MUCH more into the Titans and Saints respectively than the other 2 groups. My impression is that most Alabamians could care less about any NFL team. Huntsville/Decatur/Athens area actually does have some legitimate Titans fans.

Living in Mobile the last few years, this area actually has a lot of die hard Saints fans. The local radio stations even have a show dedicated to the Saints so it's a completely different dynamic here. There are Alabama/Auburn fans who care about their college team only slightly more than the Saints which is a far cry from the rest of the state. It's the same way with Huntsville area fans with the Titans except on a much level.

Houston Texans. Pretty much every A&M fan is either a Texans or Cowboys fan

Is it ever acceptable to change allegiances? My Dad raised me to be a fan of Team A. My husband is a fan of Team B (not giving specifics to avoid prejudices). I've been to more games of Team B, own more gear of Team B, but I'm really having a hard time changing my answer of "Which NFL team do you support" to Team B when asked.
