What made Belichick change his mind about Mac Jones?

We all saw him at Bama’s pro day. He was clearly not impressed. Why would he draft him? No other options I guess.

Maybe he decided to look at Mac's film, talk to him and his coaches and not drafting him based off a few pro-days.
Mac will be the best QB of the last two draft classes in 5 years.
