Alabama QB Mac Jones sets school record against Georgia

Alabama quarterback Mac Jones did something Saturday night that Tua Tagovailoa or any other signal caller in Tide history ever accomplished.

[quote]Jones notched his third straight 400-yard passing game, this time against the Bulldogs top defense. Last week, Jones became the first Alabama quarterback to throw for back-to-back 400-yard games. So, he essentially broke his own record, and it will likely be one that stands for a long time.

Bammers getting defensive when it’s a legit question. Belichick went viral for shaking his head in disappointment while watching Mac’s pro day. Why would he draft him?

What the frick are you talking about? It was always a high probability that the Patriots would draft him if he was available.

He was bluffing other teams, specifically the 49ers. He does this kind of thing a lot.

Same reason the 49’s were so high on him. So no one knows what you truly think. Although, after watching the Dark Side of Football on Belichick and how he cheats, Mac should feel right at home.

More likely Belichick responding to the portent of what Shanahan and the 49'ers were about to invest in for a quarterback who hadn't played in 18 months.

Pretty certain if you read his lips, he say's 'That's fricking insane... wait 3 years and see what their saying about giving up those draft picks'

Belichick promised Mac that he would be drafted by the Patriots if they could fake teams into thinking Mac couldn't play. The bad passes and the overly dramatic reaction from Belichick were a ruse. Mac Jones was smart enough to realize that the Patriots were still playoff bound and that he will be the starter of game 1.

Mac wanted a successful career more than he wanted to be drafted high by losers.

I would call you full of chit, if I haven't seen the same stuff floating around NFL message boards.

Suddenly Mac couldn't hit Wrs going against air at Alabama pro days...but was dropping dimes in front dozen of scouts during practices in the Senior Bowl.

I hate the Patriots....

THE 49ERS have a better roster than the Patriots though.

Maybe, certainly did in 2020, but the Pats have been spending like crazy in free agency and now rumors of Julio Jones wanting to play there are circulating.

He was disappointed that the receiver didn’t dive for the ball.

Julio would be an awesome pickup for them. Much like Moss in 07.

Bill is smart and has an eye for talent and how to draft. Even though Mac went to bama, I expect he will be the starter in NE in no time and will be successful. Tom Brady successful? Doubtful but he will be a good pro qb
