I don't know what everyone is bitching about. Other than the LSU responses, all of the remarks are true.

i know this is off topic, but Peyton not winning the Heisman still torks me big time. that was the biggest job ever and i lost all respect for that organization and that award.

The funny part about that was if you had placed any other team; and I mean ANY other team in our situation they wouldn't have jumped Oklahoma either.

...I don't know why anyone thinks that about us. I guess after you have such a long history of greatness, as Alabama does, people just have a tendency to make rude comments like that.
We have been so great for so long that I guess sometimes it is hard for us to understand what it is like to be anything but a winner. It is just nice to know that coach Saban has us headed back down that road to greatness, which is a road that we are vastly familiar with and it will be just another stroll down memory lane for BAMA fans.
Oh well, I hope that someday others will see us for what we truly are...wonderful fans of the most historic program in the entire world, and truly great people.

I agree, but I know I have heard speculation on this board that a Bama team that was 12-0 would have jumped OK based on their legacy/history.

Alabama was ranked lower in preseason then we were, and they didn't have that much better of a schedule at all.
All of that, combined with the fact that Oklahoma is historically on par with Alabama in football.
