That was my major, so they constantly reminded us how great the college was
Niiice. I knew our business school got a lot of praise but no one really specified which program.

Dirt farming only if we can get consistent moisture. Otherwise dry and dusty.

At State it’s probably something to do with cheese or cotton.

AT Bama some of the best known academic fields of study are law, journalism, accounting and business. I.e., at a minimum, we produce liars, deceivers, cheaters and the greedy.
Probably the area where we are best known and most pristine and pure in practice is the BA, Masters and Doctorate programs in the Art and Science of American football. Frankly, Bama is mediocre or a little above in the theoretical and philosophical approaches to the game, but to this point, successful in the implementation of such studies. Also, Bama has a relatively high employment rate in the field after completion of the students' tenure.

Almost 10 pages and some unmentioned observations.....
Vanderbilt has lots of good colleges but their best is Education
Auburn has a good vet school because of an early partnership with UK
Nobody has mentioned Missouri's vet school as they have produced some really good vets including several that helped TAMU's vet reputation
Patterson at Kentucky was mentioned but it is unknown in general population as it was funded by the old Mason - Hanger (Where the Mason of Mason - Headley Road came from) and staffed by old CIA guys. In conjunction with Centre College in Danville that produces the highest per capita of folks in the US diplomatic corps. FWIW, the old Mason Hangar was form to make and sell munitions back in the early history of the US and was acquired about a decade ago by a Philadelphia company.
Fascinating company and almost unknown even in Lexington and Richmond where their roots were formed.

That is fricking retarded to go to private school and pay all of that money to be a teacher. Very low ROI.

Your response is even more retarded but just shows how skewed we have become to the "Greed is Good" mantra.
