I was conceived on campus...literally...I've tried to not care about LSU football but I can't...I've got Baton Rouge in my blood

Dad is an alum and I have been going to games since I can remember.

Dad is an alum, attended all but maybe about 10 home games since I was 4 including missing games at WMS. Otherwise I've only missed 2.

Sepsis is dangerous. Might wanna go see a doc.
And to answer the OP, my grandfather was a Bama fan during the years that I knew him because one of his co-workers/good friends played here in the 60s. Also, I will be an alum in 3 days.

My dad was a huge BAMA gump like most people were during the Coach Bryant years. I use to go to the games at Legion Field in Birmingham when I was a little boy and stand by the fence waiting for Coach Bryant to walk out onto the field. He was the closest thing to a celebrity I had ever seen when I was a kid and he looked like a giant when I was a little boy.
I later went to UAB for undergraduate which is affiliated with the University but it's not the same, so I guess I am a sidewalk fan since I didn't attend the University, but I am still a fan none the less.
In my home growing up you had no choice to be an Alabama fan. Everyone I knew when I was a kid was an Alabama fan.

I grew up very poor to uneducated parents who didn't give a shite about my school work so instead of a college to help me succeed I got to quit school and work to help pay their bills so it's not my fault I'm a Bama fan without being an alumnus before anyone gets on my arse for just picking the team that my dad followed.
I love the Tide even though the only times I've been there was for spring games and the three games I was fortunate enough to be able to attend. I very much liked Nebraska on my own without an influence and still think Osbourne's offenses were a thing of beauty. Miss the old huskers.

My family is from Mobile, and were all raised to be BAMA fans. My mom and dad moved to BR so my mom could get her masters from lsu. They still raised me right though! RTR! I've been to many more games in Tiger stadium than BDS though. Damn did I get a lot of crap from my friends growing up. Well, until BAMA and LSU actually played each other.

I'm alum and grew up in Tuscaloosa. My father works for the University. I bleed crimson and wouldn't have it any otherway that is why I am a fan.
