What is your opinion on CBS broadcast?

Argument on the Tiger Rant. I personally believe Verne and Danielson are some of the worst in the business for a major station. Add in the fact that CBS shows more commercials than any other station and you have some of the worst coverage on tv. The song is epic, the rest makes me wish it was on another station.

Watched the game Sat, the ball hit the upright on a fg attempt, bounced back down, a player started to run and they got excited about to call the return of it, until the officials blew the ball dead and they realized they didn't know what they were doing. 
Did the same thing in the SEC CG with Fla/Bama on the exact same play...

The excessive amount of commercials drives me crazy. I don't pay too much attention to Gary and Verne. I kinda like their frick ups.
I get so annoyed when I'm in the stadium during a CBS game. The TV timeouts kill the momentum of the game, IMO.

Verne is a slug but Gary is actually decent, he brings great insight to the game. The thing about CBS that blows is the 2:30 time slot. I would take the ESPN night broadcast with Nessler and Blackledge in a heartbeat over CBS. I think they are the best in the business, especially Nessler.

SEC on CBS is the best. most entertaining announcers, best broadcasting quality, best HD cameras, best theme songs

It's so bad it's good. Would take a while to get used to someone else.
The last game I watched Verne said something to the effect of, "Lattimore is now spelled Kenny Miles" after giving credit to the wrong player
Also, why hasn't CBS threw boatload of money at Gus Johnson. . . SEC Gusgasms would be awesome

I really like Gary when he is breaking down a play or explaining why something happened the way it did. When he starts to go off on a tangent is when he gets annoying.

A lot of people hate on Herbstreit but I am a fan. If only he wasn't with Musberger.

I use Verne as a barometer of sorts. If his pronunciation of a players name sounds correct to me, then I know I need to slow down on the cocktails.

Sitting in the stadium for a cbs game is almost unbearable. It seems like the game takes forever. Too many breaks. I know you where asking about the commentators but I thought of this too

Loran Smith interviewed Verne on the UGA pregame radio show and dubbed him "the voice of college football" now that Keith Jackson is retired.
